Plotty Things!
HELLO CLEVELAND!
Well-no wait.
HELLO WORLD.
Seeing as how the month of September/October just got...opened unexpectedly- I have the need to fill some NPC roles in a major John-Preston plot. I need to recruit some NPCs however, before I try and drum up interest-sooooo-
Hokay So. John Preston's world? Remember Equilibrium and the horrors therein? Well John Preston and a Flock of Milliways finest took out Father (-in a rather fitting way it should be noted)
Since then, Libria has been rebuilt-at half it's compacity. Consider that Libria-that-was was (once upon a time) the United States and one of the Greatest Military Superpowers to walk the earth (...'m slightly biased). It's now trying to play peacemaker under the rule of a "Council of Senators" Led by NPC extra-ordinare Susan McClintock, a former Lieutenant of everybody's favorite Revolutionary leader John Preston.
John Preston, along with the surviving first class clerics have built The Monestary into an almost Jediesque Temple where they train both sweepers and specially selected citizens in Cleric Arts.
So that's Libria.
What about the rest of the world?
You might remember an ill-fated film by Kurt Wimmer called "Ultraviolet"
Anyway-Ultraviolet's been retconned (by moi) into Preston's universe. While Libria got hit with devestating Nuclear Weaponry, Libria used Xylyx (Violet's world) as it's personal genetic disease/biological warfare playground. Recently they've had an uprise in attacks similar to the one that Preston pulled (-IE-resistence movement members).
A good chunk of Xylyx's citizens are "Hemophages". Essentially "Vampires" infected with an HIV/AIDS like virus. They're being horribly oppressed by the ArchMinistry of Health. Jurgen and John have recently gone to Xylyx, protesting the actions of the ArchMinistry's leaders-but most of the Vampire Rebellion consider them the enemy.
Here are the NPCS I need:
TEH VAMPS YO:
(MUST HAVE SEEN ULTRAVIOLET)
Violet Song Jat Shariff: ....John Preston. No. Seriously. John Preston-if he were a chick (it's NEXUSLoL!) A vampire with enhanced speed/strength-Violet's...scary. To say the least.
Garth: Violet's "Q", Garth is going to play a vital role in advising Violet. Shy, Garth is also unusually intelligent. See Also: Vampire.
Nyugen Anh: A "Resistance Doctor" The only requirements for this particular OC is that she be asian, a vampire, and have an unfailing softspot for kids. (-The rest. Is up to you.)
THE RESISTENCE:
HENRY DUPONT: (Equilibrium) In the original Equilibrium, he was Father's right hand man in the movie-but seemingly nonexistant in the original save-libria plot! Where o WHERE was he? And what was he doing?
MAIN CAST:
LISA PRESTON: Daughter to John Preston (I'll be playing Robbie as an NPC) Lisa is deaf (hard of hearing) and currently being seen by a Xylyxian Doctor-who was arrested (at the start of the plot) for being a Hemophage.
those are the big ones. CANNOT START ZE PLOT WITHOUT UM.
What the hell? I'll give you the plot itself too:
Xylyx is fucked up.
In base language, it's everything that Libria was, and that does not sit well with John Preston, Jurgen, and the rest of the small Librian Delegation sent over to deal with Daxus and his...cleanfreaks. Preston's only recently learned of his daughter's disability, and while Xylyx lacks in basic freedoms-it has the worlds best healthcare.
A windy day, a grassy knoll, and a speech.
Preston was guarding Jurgen when it happened. A snipershot out of nowhere took out the man who'd inspired him to fix things. He flees, vowing revenge- a fact made more potent when the crime is pinned on the vampires infiltrating the city.
Who was really responsible for the assassination? What other crimes will they think up next? THIS is what you must find out!
....That was possibly the lamest plotpitch in the history of plotpitches.
Anyway. There'll be three groups:
Group One-INVESTIGATIONS-
(NPC PLAYERS OF VIOLET/GARTH/RESISTENCE SHOULD NOT BE INVOLVED)
-Puppets to dig into the deep and seedy underground where people (after being infected by HGV) fled.
Group Two- SHOCK AND AWE TROOPS
-Once the plot's run it's circle, these'll be puppets who can go in and kick some booty. can also be part of group one.
So.
Please put down if you're interested in group one/two, if you'd like to play an NPC and why (-They're all going in a big journal. I saw that. It worked well) along with any suggestions/thoughts/ideas/etc.
