So, let's see if I can summarise this bad boy.

Sirius shows up behind the bar a little too late to announce the "menoo", and Kassandra comes by to chat, striking up a conversation with the Mogget Cat. Mogget tricks her into removing his collar, thus releasing his true form, Yrael. Sirius, meanwhile, is making small talk with Constantine and doesn't notice the danger.

Sirius is blinded by the cat's release, and injured when the bar is set ablaze. It should be noted that one of the things that was set on fire was the drinks cabinet, so if anyone wants to play with not being able to get the right kind of drink, they may.

All is madness for a few minutes (within the game and outside it). Events as follows:

John runs in to pull Sirius and Kassandra away from the flaming bar.
Delirium floods the bar to put out the fire. (later "repairing" it -- anyone got a report on what those repairs entail? Or do we just make it up as we go?)
Yrael is cruel to Kassandra, who scolds him.
Horatio rushes in to help John (this one in particular is scattered, so just, er, take my word for it.)

...and so then Yrael was all "Yo, bitch" and Delirium was like "Bring it!" and Yrael was like "Don't make me cut you" and Delirium was all "Yo mama" and Yrael was like "Later, ho"....

...and then Horatio Hornblower faints, to the amusement of many.

After Yrael fades, Delirium and Barnbas have an amusing conversation about books.

Constantine, meanwhile, has brought Sirius into the kitchen and applied first aid, of a sort, while half the bar also appears. I'm not going to go into heavy summary, Constantinemun can if he likes, but suffice it to say Sirius' burns are healed, Kassandra passes out next to him in the kitchen, and the muns all went to bed. :D Sirius is still flashblinded, and more info on that forthcoming in Kassandra's next Post Milliways Post :)

(Sorry to abandon you, Petermun! Can we pick it up again perhaps tomorrow afternoon? Sirius will have realised he's blind by then, but you can give him the Whole Bad News.)

anyone got a report on what those repairs entail

I believe there are glowing rainbow fishies swimming through the fire in the fireplace. And Barnabas said something about the bar being decorated with fishies, but I don't know what that means.

As for the summary of what happened in the kitchen (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/472186.html), you've pretty much covered it as well as I would, being semi-summary-challenged.

Plus tea. :) There was much talk about tea -- which I think Anthy finally made and started passing out to people. Moiraine had left the kitchen by that point, though, after her very brief chat with Constantine, so I didn't pay close attention.

It's okay, Sam. I figured between the chaos in the kitchen and Sirius' Unbounded Capacity for Denial, Sirius just hadn't heard what Peter had to say. Which, if you think about it, is wholly IC.

So yes, we can try picking it up tomorrow afternoon.

I'm glad you summarized this and not me; I'm still trying to sort out how many people have said they're going to hurt Mogget when they see him next, and how. So far I have Peter(nice imagery, Peter-mun with sticking the wand up the ahem...), John (using Mogget's dead body for spells), Sirius(strangling and/or breaking Mogget's neck), Death (self-explanitory), and Delirium (general unpleasantness).

Mogget will be careful to keep out of sight for quite a while.

As far as the 'repairs' go, am I safe in assuming that this is the sort of thing that the muns can work to suit thier whims, provided that it comes across as the sort of thing that Del might have done? Cause I have an idea or three for the little changes around the bar.

Good grief - why is it that the good stuff always happens when Gil's out of the loop? But I suppose that in itself is a good thing. Sirius etc had enough to cope with without an hysterical faun underfoot.

I hope the blindness is temporary but that Kassandra will still need a hug by next weekend when Gil gets back
