Raph doesn't do a whole lot of sleeping after Bernard returns. He does, however, keep his promise to watch and protect Fleur. Of course, with Raph "watching" and "protecting" has a lot to do with <a href+'http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/456935.html?thread=14601703#t14601703">spying. As further proof that loners are really just people who need more friends than normal people, Raph reaches out to Crichton for more information, and really, just to talk to someone. Or in this case to talk to someone and have them write notes back to them. John's wierd like that it seems. When Bernard shows up Raph ditches John for a closer look.
Raph's closer look makes him better informed about the lives of those around him, but that's not necessarily a good thing.
Raph returns only to exchange is empty bottle for one not so empty. Only instead of retreating to the roof again, he finds a nice booth in the back. Death joins him, looking a little warmed over herself. Heh, get it? Death warmed over? Bah, you don't know funny! *sigh*
Anyway, they get to chatting. Raph learns that Dream is missing. Death learns that Bernard and Fleur broke up because of Raph.
We all learn that Raph consideres himself whiney and in need of a shooting, and that Raph's family is not actually dead. This last thing knocks poor Raph for a loop, as you can imagine. Death escorts him back to the roof.
Raph and Death. OTF theirfriendshipissodrunk.
