updates, slowtimes, and character status

First, for those who might be interested, an update to the state of the Black Pearl is now posted.

Second, as is probably a surprise to very few, graduate school requirements continue to siphon away my ever-dwindling free time. This is especially the case from today through Oct. 23rd, and again from Oct. 31 - Nov. 9th, and primarily affects the status of entry posts and threads with the following characters:

* Captain Jack Sparrow - pirate_jack
* Moiraine Sedai - blue_ajah
* Kim Ford - bannion_sight
* Gabriel Tam - gabriel_tam
* Frank Black - gifted_profiler
* Blodwen Rowlands - white_flowers

This just means that if any of them are needed, advance planning and slowtime are both things of love and great value. (As always, I can be reached by email at aspen [at] silveraspen [dot] net.)

Which brings me to the subject of slowtimes. I know I have several outstanding, especially for some who are threading with Jack and Kim, and I haven't forgotten, I promise. I will do my best to tag up everything in the next 24 hours -- and if I miss one, feel free to poke me over email or nag me about it on AIM when I'm online (Aspenx3), truly.

Asar-Suti would like to talk to Jack again, but that can wait until after your phase of being insanely busy. There is no plottish hurry or need for it.

And thanks for the update! AS sees the ship every day from the garden, and it's great to know what he is seeing. I'll incorporate it in a post again.

I say that we should do a thread, because it should be done. but with lives and busyness and stuff I guess it should be slowtimed from the beginning.
