Quick note for anyone who'd be interested:

As of events related to the "Wellard-Norrington fracas," as Gramarye so aptly termed it, the floating pier that runs between the Black Pearl and the shore has been cut loose of its shore moorings and pulled over to the ship. It's visible, and will eventually be refastened on shore -- but not until things settle out and/or Wellard leaves the Pearl.

(Jack Sparrow? Suspicious? Never say.)

Those who need/want to reach the ship can still do so -- but they've got to get Jack's attention first, or Wellard's, just for the time being.

Thanks, all.

People don't use the word 'fracas' nearly often enough, in my opinion. ^_^

And yet it applies to so many situations here! What a travesty.

I prefer 'kerfuffle', actually.

Donnybrook. Or perhaps even imbroglio.

Damn. I was about to post with imbroglio.

So I resort to slang.

It's the Wellard-Norrington Rhubarb. :D
