Just sort of a hello. I got dragged here by Dream!mun, you all can blame her for the recruitment. *G* Though its taken me a while to figure out who to play- and Atticus spoke up. I hope he fits in well here, even if he's just a mundane, gentleman lawyer from the South during the Depression. You just can't beat a gentleman, though!

I haven't seen the movie (Bad me, I know) but the book reduced me to tears in the middle of a college library.

The only other book that's ever done that is Lord of the Rings, but I don't know if I should admit that. ;)

The movie follows the book exceedingly well. (It also has Gregory Peck as Atticus. *swoon!*) If its out on a DVD I'm going to have to get it before I wear out my tape.

Just one book for the canon, or the movie. I've started putting my fave bits from the book into his LJ, just for fun. Contact info- well, I'm usually on. Just that tonight I had a closing shift, so not enough time to actually go IC... though I keep hearing that sleep is overrated.

Oh, yes, I knew where he was from. :) I was one of the few kids never required to read To Kill A Mockingbird in high school, so I had to read on my own time. I never got to finish it. I need to go back and do that.

My primary character is actually out at present, and my secondary characters are taking a break while I slog through the ridiculous amount of work needed for the primary's current plotline. But yes, sleep is very overrated. The crack will consume you yet. Just you wait.

Hurrah for Atticus! And Gregory Peck is one of my all-time favorite actors (On the Beach? Oh, my goodness...*cries*) so it'll be good to see his face 'round the bar.

I think Atticus and Tonks probably have very similar notions of justice. They should definitely talk at some point. :)
