Meme: Values survey

[livejournal.com profile] penknife has written a very interesting survey asking about your RP characters' moral values. In an effort to find something RP-like to do while my roommate used the phone in our dialup-only flat, I took the survey on behalf of several of my characters.

Bran Davies:
In which Bran shows that he got his moral compass directly from Owen. Even when they disagree -- see: homosexuality, religion, magic -- he thinks of Owen's answer first and modifies from there.

Lyra Silvertongue
In which Lyra approves of sex and disapproves of religion. In other news, water is wet and Sam the Eagle is still outraged.

Archibald Craven
In which far more is revealed about Archibald's sexual morality than we all probably wanted to know. You have been warned.

Now you try it -- it's great fun!

Interesting. I answered for Tom and Susan. Seeing as they are from the same time and place originally, they were more alike than I imagined.

Given Behrooz is so uncooperative, I didn't expect to do it, but procrastination won out. So here (http://kayip.livejournal.com/25373.html) with plenty of repetitiveness and apathy.

Lucy Pevensie, proving *wry* if you compare it with Susan's that just because you were raised the same way does not mean that you end up with the same beliefs when you have very different personalities.

Plus, Susan is still firmly in early 1950's London, so that helps. ;-)

Melou's is here. And dear lord, anyone who even remotely cares about Angela should probably really NOT read it.

Knox's responses are here (http://gotham-knocking.livejournal.com/10199.html) if a bit terse. He's just not big on this kind of thinking.

Jocasta, Nanny Ogg, and Mel, arguably my most morally 'interesting' characters.

Maybe I'll do the rest some time.

[identity profile] politestpirate.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
Henry Wellard. (http://midshipwellard.livejournal.com/20825.html)

Balance out pre-Regency English morals, with a life in the navy, and then the influences of an officer, pirate, and Old One.

It gets interesting.

As the only one of my pup who even has morals, here is Lyrae's (http://users.livejournal.com/_mother_dearest/4742.html).

In which we see the moral results of Second Age society, and Lyrae being really bitter at certain things.

Amy's.

And Hannah's.

I thought about trying one for Trina, but she basically exists in a morality free zone.

Yes, he DOES have morals.

Just.

Not very many.
