Dresden on TV

I'm pimping b/c this is too cool -

Dunno how many are aware, but Harry's canon was recently made into a TV show on the SciFi Channel and the first episode aired TONIGHT @ 2100 EST.

(Yeah, I suck for not putting up a notice earlier, so sue me.)

BUT - There is an encore at 2300 EST - so if you missed the one at 2100 - grab the 2300 one!


ETA: Check the SciFi Channel schedule - it's airing several more times this week The SciFi Channel is a little obsessive sometimes.



Yes - if you're in Canada - you can see it on SPACE - dunno if they're doing the 2300 airing or not.

And I think it's going to air on Sky One on the 14th of February - but I'd have to check Jim's board to be sure on that one.



My mun journal (highlander_ii) has my spacey ramblings about my impression of the first episode - chock full o' spoilers, so don't read if you wanna watch first.

I, personally, love the guy who's playing Harry on the show. Not that I've seen it, mind, but he was a pretty big villain on "24," so 's funny to see him playing a character who's already in Milliways.

Yeah, I'd heard he was on "24" - but I never saw him b/c I stopped watching "24" back in S1....

Harry's PB isn't changing - that would hurt my brain - I picked him before the TV show was cast. *g*

But Paul's doing a fantabulous job - and as a bonus - Jim Butcher likes him, which means he's probably doing something right. ;)

Yeah; if you did change his PB Harry might suffer the same fate as Stephen Saunders when he was in the bar. Namely, he might get hit with a chair.

SPACEis showing the first airing at 9pm EST with the repeat at 3am EST, which appears to be the pattern they'll be following for the duration of the season.
