Retirements
Liir Thropp and Nick Knight have been retired from the bar tonight.
For Liir, his story was told. He got everything he wanted and the boy was ready for his damn happy ever after if anyone ever is. I thank everyone I've ever had the pleasure of playing with for putting up with him, and with the random poetry, and with everything else. He was absolutely wonderful to write but at least half of that was the great people who tagged him. Danka danka danka.
For Nick... his story's been done and his voice is heading onto that great rerun land in the sky. Nick was my first pup and he's the one I got to know most of the people here with. He's had his ups and downs and I said very early on that he was the pup that I played for, that I really wanted to see, that I could slip into like a comfortable old glove... and that's why I held onto him as long as I did. He's done here, though.
I can never thank "him", however, for letting me join everyone here. He's how I got to know Becca (and we really should play more! I never seem to catch you!) and he's how I met so many amazing people and I've often said that this game, in a lot of ways, changed my life and he was the one who started it. So yeah, it's a pretty big thing for me to let him go but mostly that's because of all the wonderful relationships I got out of playing him and all the wonderful memories I have with him.
I won't go on any longer, but... there we go. Thanks for all of the fun. You all rock.

(Everyone seems to keep telling Sophie about Garion. *giggles* I will send her back over sometime.)
And Nick will be much, much missed.

And Liir was great.

And on behalf of Nor-mun (because I'm sure she'll think this), the possibilities will be missed.

We'll miss him, but we understand.
