Hokay. I've been mulling over this for a long, long, looong time. And now that I've sent the e-mail, it's all set.

I'm retiring Lock, Shock, and Barrel as of March 5th. And no doubt, this leads some of you to think, 'WTF? That's WEEKS from now! Why can't you spring it on us all surprisey-like?' I'll tell you why, and it's one of those funny little four-letter words we all know and love:

First off, this whole plot will be pre-threaded. Meaning, your pup, should everything go entirely according to plan, will only be out for... an hour? Less than that. In fact, one post on the 5th.

Basically, here's how it's going down:

Lock, Shock and Barrel are presently about three years post-canon. In that time, according to milli-canon created by me, the nightmares that had been previously under the control of Oogie Boogie (and then Jack Skellington,) have revolted, and now they're trying to escape to not only the other holidays, but the Real World as well. And before you ask, no, there will be no resurrecting of Oogie Boogie.

In fact, there will be no tangible being that can be battled.

Yup. If you choose to allow your pup to be involved in this plot, your pup will be battling nightmares. Nightmares in Halloween Town. Halloween Town taken over and desecrated by their own nightmares. Possibly, they'll be battling their own.

SCARY SHIT'S GOING DOWN.

On the first of March (Thursday) I'll be pulling Lock Shock and Barrel out of the Bar. That same day, I'll be pulling them back in, scared to death. They'll get together, start talking to people, and then get the idea to start asking for help. Any post of theirs will be considered a living sign-up sheet.

On Monday, like I said, there will be one post. Everyone's gathered, then everyone comes back, victorious, with OOMs linked.

Except Lock, Shock and Barrel. They'll be staying home, to live in Halloween Town, in peace, serving King Jack.

So that's it, folks, got any questions? Who wants in? The sooner I get a consensus on how many we've got playing, the sooner we can get this thing going.

fallen_april). Audrey's an FBI agent, so even if she's not used to battling NIGHTMARES, she'll be handy.

And April's got some nightmares of her own that it would probably be beneficial for her to battle. Yay for character-building battles!

I'd looooove to do this. Just need to think on who to torture.
