Let it snow!
There was a pretty good response to the idea of a super chaotic snowball fight... plot... thingy... thread.... thing. Not really sure what to call it.
Anyway, no one seemed to have problems with it happening next weekend, so here's the plan:
Sometime around 6am EST I will post a thread to the main bar and a notice here in the back room. I will also, simultaneously, start up an AIM chatroom for the fight, which will be noted in the backroom post.
Anyone is welcome to tag in at any time for any reason in any thread. This is supposed to be chaotic. Hence the chat room to pretend that we can control said chaos. You don't have to be in chat to tag in, you don't have to do anything, really to tag in. Just do it.
This is how I see things working. You can declare your pup a target simply by placing a tag in the main thread with what and where your pup happens to be when the whole thing starts. If you've built a fort, that's awesome, if you are innocently skating on the lake? Also awesome.
From there you can tag in anywhere and everywhere. Personally I'd love to see links running from place to place sort of like the lake party thread hopping only way more so. But, really, this is the first snowball war I've ever tried so... Just do what seems fun. I figure we leave everything open for at least 24 hours and that as fun as slowtime is, that this'll be mostly in real time (though you're free to try to slowtime things).
Things'll wrap up Sunday morning EST or so.
