Fourth Wall III: The Quest for the Holy Grail

So a cat and a pig walk into the back room of a bar...

"So you're saying to me that there is a rather valuable golden chalice beyond the fourth wall?" says the cat to the pig.

"Yep," nods the pig.

"How do you know which wall is the fourth one?" Yrael says, dry.

"You ask them, of course," says Chao, wandering off to watch the fun from a safe distance. Chao will be observing the festivities with great amusement. Sadly, he is not available for tagging.

"Oh," says Yrael. "Right, then."

...and an adventure begins.



(ooc: The door through the fourth wall's been found!! Ever wanted to meet the pups and squee over them, or do you really not want them to know that your their own personal Landlord? Take advantage of it or run for the hills. Post your pup in! Post yourself in! All muns and pups welcome! Thread-hopping mightily encouraged! There is a somewhat nervous young woman, about 20 years old, squinting myoptically through rectangular glasses. "Whoa. A cat. And a pig. What the Hell?"

After a second, she does the same with the glasses and peers under her desk to judge the available hiding space, muttering, "Not again..."

There's a twenty-something uni student curled up on a small bed in a corner of the back room, a laptop balanced on her knees. A Complete Works of Shakespeare sits beside her.

She clicks a "Post Comment" button on the screen before looking up.

"Oh dear," she winces, seeing the not'cat.

She pulls a tasseled cord to let down a rope ladder leading up to a nest of blankets and pillows, chocolate and marshmallows, perched upon a high shelf.

Saph climbs up to the relative safety of the shelfnest, pausing as she considers whether or not to pull the ladder up behind her...

She pulls the ever-ready spectrespecs out of her pocket, and squints through them at the backroom.

“Hello.”

The sudden rush of sound in the room draws her attention, and the tall young woman with long dark hair currently pulled back in a ponytail looks up from the silver PowerBook and just starts laughing.

"...I think I'm going to need more tea."

There is a noise of someone clattering down a multitude of stairs before a dingy red painted door open with a young woman with fine, wavy, dirtyblonde hair a black beanie comes in carrying a tea cup in one hand and a large sketch pad in the other.
