Flashback Fridays
So, the post a few down referring to past plots got me to go back and skim some of those plots and that led to thinking. (Dangerous, I know! But the mods approved it anyway.)
Welcome to Flashback Fridays.
This is very similar to Thread Pimps... OF THE PAST! It's just a place for you to reccommend older threads for other players to read. Maybe they were an amazing moment in Milliways history, maybe they made you cry, maybe they just made you laugh so hard that you fell out of your chair, hit your head, and are only now regaining consciousness after a long coma and sharing the thread is your way of exacting revenge. Whatever!
No hard and fast rules, really. Please make the reccommended threads from The PAST, and not, you know, last week or even last month. I also like the Thread Pimps idea of reccommending threads you weren't involved in, but that's more of a guideline, savvy? The occasional self-pimp of The PAST isn't going to force me to deploy sad icons at you.
And to start things off, Geoff? Geoff, the God of Biscuits, are you in the house? Because I was rereading Hushplot and Geoff's song re: your buns (cinnamon!) made tea get all nasally up in my nasal. Well played, sir.

Okay, off the top of my head, I'm adding this one. It's a small thread, but it was, I believe, the first one in which Sophie was able to show off her mad coding skillz. Lucifer confronts Crowley about the Tainted Absinthe Incident (which is here - good luck trying to follow these pre-AIM, whacked out threads of doom. (It's worth trying though - this was the first Big Event in bar, if I recall correctly.)

Fun with initially repressed memories, Arthurian family squabblings, the numerous reasons why being of the Light really tends to suck at times, and the ever-present debates about choice that come with most anything Dark Is Rising-related. ^_^
(Considering that this happened at a time when I was without Internet for the space of more than three months, it's fun to look back on it again and be remarkably thankful that Merriman wasn't around to deal with any of this.)

I guess it's my turn to pimp. How about Andrew, Meg and a gratuitous ghost (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/1147679.html?thread=41681695#t41681695)?

First, totally tooting my own horn, but WHATEVER: From the end of Plot With Rocks In, we have Mark totally off his rocker and Angel freaked the HELL out. (Not that I blame him. I was flailing all through the plot and the plot was my idea! XD)
Second: In which Roger Davis is locked out of his room by Bar, and Faith tries to give him advice on it. (Don't mind the icons; Faith was post-canon during her Milliways run, but Val's using the journal elsegame these days with wee!Faith.) I was so damn amused when I read this. It's exactly what Roger needed to stop him brooding.

Wasn't the last, of course. >.>

This? Is one of the reason I fell love in Milliways shortly after I started.
The crackiest wedding EVER! Puppet wedding! Hypnotized wedding party. And 'you may kiss the bride' turns into an insane moment.
Marjory-Stewart Baxter (I kind of miss that creepy puppet. Is that bad? Heee.) marries Socko. (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/4727358.html)

Will post something next week!

This thread, in which Ted Brautigan tells Eddie Dean about 9/11.
That was one of the threads where I felt the need to thank the players for having written it. Still do.

Van Helsing is a werewolf and crashes into the bar...
Summary of evens with links to the threads...
Still my fave plot evah!
