So there is this thing called Millicon coming up next month. Perhaps you have heard of it.
(If not:
millicons.)
This year there will be programming. And
shati and I have had a BRILLIANT IDEA. And for this BRILLIANT IDEA to be BRILLIANTLY EXECUTED (but not in the messy way, because that's gross), we have a question for the game at large:
Are you now, or have you ever, been a vidder?
And if soyou filthy communist who hates freedom, are your vid(s) uploaded anywhere? Can we see them?
Can we...
...show them?
Drop me an e-mail at agonistes at gmail dot com. While this isn't an "official Milliways vidshow" -- it's more like "Shati and I like these vids that have Milliways canons in them, and we think they're worth showing on a larger screen" -- we'd also like to showcase the efforts of Milliways players, whether or not you are attending the con. We'll try to work in as many vids as we can, though we seem to be under a pretty strict time allowance. We do plan to keep showing vids at least one night of the con in a more casual setting, though, so we can pretty much guarantee that you'll have an audience for your work.
Questions? That's why Al Gore invented the wily jungle 'LJ comment'.

"More casual show" is totally code for "we're invading somebody's room with our laptops", and the more laptops the merrier! We'll make a similar announcement when we're actually there -- that way we'll have a better idea of when and where it'll happen.
