Flashback Fridays: The Saturday edition
Since there hasn't been one of these posted yet this weekend, and I have something in mind, I'll take the initiative. (Thought to mods: Would a tag for these posts be handy?)
Hokay, so. That little incident earlier this week with Jack Sparrow getting Bar plastered? Actually put me in mind of something vaguely similar that happened much earlier in the game's history, affectionately known to most of us around at the time as The Margarita Incident.
It all started with John Crichton Mk. 1 trying to ask Bar some questions; this was so early that Bar was barely sentient, so her writing notes hadn't occurred to anyone yet. Solution: "One margarita for yes, two margaritas for no." Problem: Bar got rather stuck on the theme, complete with slightly plastered Head Barman and alcohol for minors, almost. (There was also margarita-flavored compressed air for Snow White's son, which got... interesting.)
And then in the finish, it turns out there's actual precedent for sharing drinks with Bar by pouring them on her!
Anyone wanting to look for more of the margarita fun, set your Wayback Machines to August 4, 2004. (See, I said this was ancient history! XD)
