So, it's entirely possible I should have mentioned this before apps closed, but I managed to be useless.
For the past ten months or so, Will Turner has been running the forge out by the stables. He's been the one handwavably responsible for keeping all the horses in shoes, as well as a supplier of swords and other metalwork for the bar patrons.
Soon, for reasons I'm not going into here, all that will change and he will no longer be doing any blacksmith work in the bar at all. For those patrons buying and commissioning weapons from him, they'll just have to go elsewhere. However, ICly the most important role of the Milliways blacksmith is the farrier work for the stables.
So I am looking OOCly for someone who will be able to carry on the forge after Will leaves. This isn't much of an OOC commitment (or rather, I didn't do much because I'm flaky) - but it does mean that someone is there ICly to shoe horses and such like.
So if anyone has a pup that needs a job and has any farrier experience or is willing to undergo a quick apprenticeship with Mr. Turner, please let me know?

I'm not sure when I'm taking Will out, though. I'll let you know.

He would prefer a part time position, though. He doesn't want to stop helping out Suzi (for pack reasons) plus there's that whole full moon thing. Maybe he could spilt, or even third, the position with the dead Aussie farm girl?
If she doesn't mind working with a dead grumpy werewolf of the SAS, that is. 0:) If not, just let me know.

SO. If he wants to learns swords, Will's definitely the supersmith to go to, and Will would teach him that.
Then Will disappears, and what happens then is up to the pups left behind. No reason why it can't be a grop effort. My current plan was to have Nanny sneaking the horses home for her son to fix.
How's Ryan with horses?

With practice, of course. Gotta make sure you show enough teeth to make them freeze, but not enough to make them stampede.

Cool. Well, we can thread the beginning of an 'apprenceship' at any time, if you want.
