Back-room summary time!
So, once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away there was a plot. I am, of course, referring to the suddenly sprung upon us plot in which Kaye Fierch lost her pixie powers and Lethe lost her voice due to evil and all, yus?
So basically there aren't words to describe how grateful and happy I feel towards all the people who took part in the plot,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
wicked_chaotic for playing both Lethe and Styx, mistaken_muse for playing Roiben and all the muns/puppets who played with the girls and helped the plot along. So as the plot took a while to finish (due to lameness on my part) I decided to make a summary (and a shiny graphic). Enjoy. I may have missed out threads by the other pups that I couldn't find! So If you guys spot any, link me up and I'll add them in :D
It started out with a kiss (it was only a kiss, only a kiss); when Roiben finally kisses Lethe after months of attraction between them, the worst possible thing happens. Kaye catches them. She is understandably heartbroken and when she wakes from a bad dream - in their shared room- to find him there, she sends him away. She can't stay away from him, even when she wants to, but the conversation that follows does nothing to make her feel any safer...she can't figure out his feelings and somewhere in her head Kaye worries they won't make it.
A lot of brooding in the bar follows. Tangible hate that Kaye has no way to disperse. Enter...the goddess. Styx; Lady of the Underworld and Lethe's mistress. She has enough reason to punish Lethe and enjoys making a game out of it. In her foolish jealousy and desire to hurt, the pixie strikes a deal with her. To her horror, the lady takes more than imagined leaving Kaye mortal and Lethe without a voice. She has what she wants (a voiceless Lethe can't speak to Roiben) but instantly regrets it. A reconciliation with Roiben through guilt wasn't how she imagined it going, she warns him off, knowing she has to deal with the problem herself. She doesn't want him to get hurt.
Halloween comes around, bringing a conversation between Lethe and her Jack, in which Jack ignores Lethe's pleas' and writes a letter to Kaye. Her reply is short, but it sets her mind. She knows it's time to fix the mistakes she's made. And two little girls find they are not really so different after all. They come together and make a kind of plan, a hopeless one, but a plan nonetheless. They make a sword, make an anti-promise to combat the bad promise and set off to battle....
only to find, that on occasion, things are easier than you expect. The only thing that really matters is each other. With Styx returning both their stolen traits; Kaye and Lethe return to their normal lives. They put aside their differences and become closer than either of them could expected.
