Puck looks left. He looks right. He slips through the door and into the back room.

"Hullo," he says cheerfully. "How absolutely charming to see you all. Really. However ... as it happens, my reason for making my way back here is strictly business: I've a message for you."

He clears his throat, chiefly for dramatic effect, and continues.

"It has recently come to my attention that it has recently come to your attention that as of this OOM, I have in my possession some quantity of the flower known as heartsease or wild pansy, which the maids do call love-in-idleness. You all, I expect, know the tale of it.

"One mercuriazs, my dear and darling handler, has informed me that I ought to convey to you my most solemn vow to only use this little flower for good, and to be quite responsible and discerning with it." He makes a face. "Really. There's little fun in that."

Brightening, "But here I look to you, my friends. Should you conceive of some use for my current supply of love potion, please do inform me. Bear in mind, of course, the rules of the game: The juice of it must be applied to sleeping eyelids, whereupon the poor creature shall fall heedlessly in love with whatever it next spies."

He looks shifty.

"Also, perhaps we were better to keep this our little secret, mm? Prithee don't go telling Mercuria ... that should spoil the game."

So, how long does it last? I'd need someone to, I guess, be receptive to having Jen suddenly go starry-eyed at them and bat her pretty green eyes in their direction. Or, actually, since it's SHULKIE we're talking about, she's more likely to just pick them up, throw them over her shoulder, and take them back home after a suitable period of flirtation. Even if it's one sided.

Jen's fun because she makes no secret of it when she likes a guy, BELIEVE ME. :-D The first time she met Wyatt Wingfoot (her first long term boyfriend in canon), she picked him up (and he's already tall!), held him at eye level, and declared her intent to have him. Fortunately, he agreed!

Well, technically it doesn't wear off for ... well, canon doesn't say. The implication is it never wears off without the antidote, which is supported by Oberon's insistence that Puck sort all this out right this second. However! Access to antidote can easily be arranged. Really. Any time.
