Hello all you jolly amnesiacs!

Midsummer's Night Amnesia plot is going along smashingly, and we're so pleased folks are having fun. Now technically, the plot (and the cookies) will be distributed beginning on Thursday.

However, if you (or your pup) should need a cookie a little earlier than that for whatever reason, just let Lynne know by pinging her (setsthingsright on AIM) or leaving a comment here.

When the Restoration Cookie is eaten, the pup should be able to remember everything that happened during their time as an amnesiac. Unless, of course, you don't want them to! DIY plot, baby, DIY plot.

Hello, wonderful folks, sadly Will is going to need his cookie on Wednesday due to me flying to Taranaki on Thursday.

I'm all for putting it off as long as possible, just let me know what time works.

Also the party plans are in full swing to keep the amnesia going, who knows what may happen when amnesia and dancing mix. Oh and you guys rock for this plot, that is all! :-)

Probably what I'll do is put him in Bar on Wednesday evening so he can be memoried and will ping you too.

Raspberry will probably need some kind of special circumstance, as she doesn't traditionally do well with solid food. Do Raven-cookies come in liquid (or semisolid) form? Is there a milkshake option? :D

Cookie-flavored milkshake is possible, I suspect--alternatively cookie-flavored jello, though maybe that's edging toward cannibalism?

Milkshake would be preferred. Jello, while not strictly cannibalism, would be a little like asking a human to eat raw carbon.

The mental image of Raven spooning milkshake into an unsuspecting amnesiacs mouth has had me giggling since I read this message on my phone at lunch.

As you might have seen, I am planning to link to an OOM party at Knox's place tomorrow. (I chose the date simply based on when I have time to RP such a thing and not worry about work.) I just wanted to check with you that it's ok to handwave that those who might attend under normal circumstances will be themselves and remember to attend and so forth? I am way behind on the Bar due to our trip and have no idea if anyone Knox invited is amnesiac, but better safe than sorry to have this option, assuming it's okay with you?

I know that I have no problem handwaving an end to amnesia, and floating about the idea that Millitimically (is that even a word?) things are a-okay.

Whatever works to make things entertaining and unstressful for people, really.

How do we arrange to get Gibbs a cookie since we are pretty much never online at the same time?

I'm going to put a post up with a plateful of cookies on Thursday morning, and people can tag that to get the cookies.

If that's not going to work--I can tag Raven into a Gibbs EP at some point, though not for a very long thread, as I work during the day.

Let me know if either option doesn't work for you and we can figure something else out.

I realized today that I might be a bit woeful once this 'un gets his memory back, because, as disturbing as it is, I kinda like him all wholesome and good and happy and not icky and with all the complexities of a five year old.

*is curious* just because I've got OOMery in the plotting for the end of Sariel's amnesia. Will the restoration of memories be a gradual thing, or a fall asleep/stay awake and get hit with them all at once thing, or is it entirely up to the people in question - DIY plots are wonderful things, no? :) Just wondering if there's any sort of standard I should go by.

In general Raven is the kind of (can I even call him a person?) person that would probably make it a WHAM into the back of the head kind of memory regaining, i.e. all at once.

However, given that he is also incredibly random, it can also be a gradual thing, too.

Whichever serves your OOM plottery stuff best, basically, is what I'm saying. If it deviates a lot from either of these potential things, though, ping/e-mail me (contact info is in raven's journal) and we can discuss?

Ooooh, the crashing back all at once thing works perfectly well. The way I'm thinking of doing things is having Sariel remember everything at once, with all the details falling into clarity within the space of a minute or two, with all the bitter/sweet/dark as heck reactions that go along with them doing the same. It's likely to be very intense for her psychologically, but happen comparatively quickly. She won't be broken, just... a little hairline fractured for a day or two.
