This is not technically a plot post.
But you might want to read it if your character knows/is close to Aeryn. The top and leather-bottom of it is Kyle and I are doing a plot to put Aeryn back in canon. For a while now I've been woeful over her AU status and the fact that I can't work through canon. I never expected to have a John in the bar again, or a Zhaan, or any of the wonderful players we have. Nonetheless it happened.
The bad news is
The basic plan involves something very sekrit which will take place outside the bar and cause time and Aeryn's memories to re-arrange themselves. Once this happens, as far as she's concerned, events went like this:
During season 3 whilst not-dating John (well she wasn't technically) she came to the bar. She dated a number of people and was bound at this time. The door came back...John came into the bar, they started a relationship. And that's really it. I talked to Kyle about this before, but can't remember what she said...I think we're altering John's memories too, but maybe not so contact us with any questions.
Things Aeryn will not remember are any time she's discussed the death of John. The birth and adoption of the baby Andrei. Any plot that took place in her own Universe (Jan Tergan, Peacekeeper torture plot, any of that stuff). Let me re-assure you, this doesn't limit your character in any way. They can feel free to mention any of this stuff to her, she just probably won't believe them. I'm not going to impose restrictions on anyone else's characters, so do what you always do and lets have fun :D
After plot she will also be less careworn around the eyes, slightly younger, and a bit more stern/peacekeeperish than she was previously. Thanks!
