re: recent Bar threads and potential plot set in Sooraya's world

I should explain that the pup currently in the bar, Future! Sooraya, isn't canon--I won't speculate on what Marvel *might* be doing in 2015 or even if New X-Men will be in print that long.

'05/younger 5Sooraya is going to be back in the bar this upcoming weekend. There's likely to be some confusion if anyone mentions her older self's visits, as she is still Bound and as yet, knows nothing about the future. Please try not to bring that up(yet!) if you've threaded with both versions of her. (though if you really feel it'd be something your char. would be impelled to do, let me know and I'll find a way to work with it)

She'll be Unbound after her next EP, returning from Quinn's world.

Future! Sooraya is going to ask for help from anyone at Bar who's up for a fight or possible rescue operation.

This would be in late September OOCly, or early October. The Xavier Institute in her world is going to have to be evacuated, under siege conditions. They'll head for a couple of different locations in her world, but they have to get OUT first.

(Anyone up for some creative arson, the escapees are going to do their best not to leave much behind.)

There's also a secondary plot,which will probably be a strictly behind-the-scenes deal. (though if other players were interested, I'd be open to discussing expansion etc.)
in which some of the (NPC'd) depowered or other characters at her home/Earth decide, okay, we've had enough. Everyone's trying to kill us and things just keep getting worse. WE'RE OUTTA HERE.

Yes, I know this would never happen in the comics. But canonically, it's shown that not everyone at XI wants to grow up to be a "Hero". Some are there because there's nowhere else to go. So, between current Sooraya's timeline and the AU 2014, it's agreed that some of them
will look for a refuge offplanet, or in another dimension. This is the "Worldwalkers Project." (Not all the X-Men know about it. Sooraya does, or will.) The US government has *no* idea about it. But for the last three years, 2011-2014, some people(mutants, or friendly supernatural types who can jump dimensions) have been looking for a likely place.

Future! Sooraya will be doing research on that as well, while at Milliways. She doesn't plan to leave Earth, but she considers it a choice the rest should have if they want it.

If a hacker is needed, Jericho knows who Babs is, and that she's highly qualified and willing to help. I'm definitely interested myself, but I'll leave it up to you guys to decide whether you need the extra hands involved.

I think they would. There's a few techie complications. One being the gadgets the Brood are using, the second that *someone* needs to make sure
the evacuation includes getting rid of any computer info that would lead to more targets--ie. personnel files--or tell the Brood where the evacuees have gone.
As Kevin told Will, they're pretty much looking not to leave anything behind intact.

Muldoon is in fact leaping, jumping, and doing everything possible to get my attention, which I take it means that he wants to help in some compacity or another, and is volunteering whatever means required to kick some ass and take some names.

I just...have to be around to help him do that and such. :D
