Continuity! For the plotthingie. DARING.
Hellboy approaches Ash with a stunning display of ettiquette. Ash apologizes for his spree of drunken narcolepsy, and Hellboy wonders what the hell happened to the bar. Ash doesn't know (and as neither one ever brings it up again, Hellboy and Ash apparently do not know of Carmen's wacky hijinks, and probably accept it as another day in the life. end digression!). There is commiseration and an extraordinarily deep pocket. They need a translator who won't invoke the evil undead: oh noes! (Later, Will-mun becomes Ash-mun and Hellboy-mun's hero. WE LOVE YOU. End second digression.)
Ash hints! Hellboy-mun is briefly confused! Eventually, though, Hellboy places an ad. Excitement! (A brief discussion of drinks ensues.)
Will approaches Hellboy and Ash with nervousness and confusion. (Who can blame him?) Hellboy extends the metaphorical leaf of that peace plant thing (and shakes hands in a crazy time loop [omg my first!]), but Will is still cautious. Hellboy questions Will's literacy and Will responds. Insert wittiness here. Explanations are made and after much deliberation and curt statements from Hellboy and Ash, Will decides to help. Celebrating time! But that comes later. For now, Ash settles for tired niceties and Will walks off to read in the corner while Hellboy offers advice no man but he could think of.
