MilliAARP

In response to this thread: we can has MilliAARP nao y/n?

It needn't be a formal group. In fact, it can just be an occasional informal meeting of Milliways' 50+ contingent when they happen to be in the same place at the same time and decide to share effective methods of getting those damn kids off the lawn. (Besides, if Skinner's canon teaches anything, it's that an organized group of older folk is about as innocent as a bunch of knitters drinking tea. Not innocent at all!)

So, thoughts form those who have 50+ pups? Those who don't? Shall they all get together and bond and become BFF? We also must have a serious discourse on the admittance of those dirty cheaters, the immortals, into the AARP club thing.

As a player of an ancient demoness-thing who looks all of 28ish, I say don't let immortals and such in unless they actually look and act 50+.

Muahaha. I am a traitor to my own kind!

Seems a sensible enough policy to me. *grins, ignoring Merriman's sidelong look*
aberrantangels: (fucking Milliways)

Well, my probably-emortal pup ([livejournal.com profile] md_donighal) tends to act my (calendar) age of 37 (rather than his own 225 or so), so he's out. I have a pup who's both mortal (dead, actually) and over 50, but [livejournal.com profile] last_master has currently forgotten both of these facts about himself.

And I have one who is old enough to join...

*snerks at an evil thought*

And one whom I might look into making old enough to join. The thought of Fett getting dragged into such a group...just...*evil laugh*

I need to find myself agreeing with this.

I'm at least 20,000 years old, and if I joined, I'd have to get all of you off my lawn.

And I don't have a lawn. I'd have to get a lawn, and then get you all off of my lawn.

Pffff. Illyria has been trying to get all these filthy mortals off her metaphorical lawn for years now.

I do not even have a lawn.

Oddly, I do have some young humans running around the base.

So if I got a lawn, I could tell them to get off the lawn.

I need to consider this. It has some merit, if only to watch Ironhide vent lubricant while expressing his appreciation of the humor involved.

I must agree.

Greetings, Optimus Prime. Over twenty thousand? You have me bested by only ten millennia. Perhaps another club is in order for ageless aliens, whether they be biological or technological life forms?

I spent a great deal of time in a stasis lock while travelling through space.

Then there is a different canon, where I am actually something on the order of nine million. But the movie canon indicates about 20,000, so I am using that.

That could be an interesting club!
