Oh, but we're working on him, and Door is saying a lot of things that will probably come back to bite her later.

[identity profile] muddypetticoats.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 10:32 am (UTC)(link)
Impossibly cute. I just want to swoop her up and snuggle her.

[personal profile] iopenthings 2004-07-13 10:36 am (UTC)(link)
She likes snuggling. I think she's going to like Liz a whole lot.

[identity profile] muddypetticoats.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 10:41 am (UTC)(link)
Hurrah! Jane's really more the motherly type, but Liz can hold her own. And Ingress is so cute. She could win anyone over, I think.

It strikes me that Jane could deal with any child, if necessary, where as Liz would really do well with the intelligent, generally well-behaved but mischeivious sort. Which Ingress is.

[identity profile] muddypetticoats.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 10:46 am (UTC)(link)
I think you're right. She'd be the type to help the child with their mischief, if she were in the right mood. I think that much fun will be had in the House of Arch.

Visions of prank wars are rising before me... oh dear.

[identity profile] muddypetticoats.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 10:57 am (UTC)(link)
Aw, you know you're secretly excited. Just think of the RP to be had!

[personal profile] iopenthings 2004-07-13 10:58 am (UTC)(link)
If by excited you mean... excited. Damn. Yes, excited would be it. Those wizards had better hurry up, I want people to move in!

[identity profile] muddypetticoats.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 11:05 am (UTC)(link)
*laughs* You know you're addicted when you consider a 'day off' to mean not joining the main boards in play, but settling for watching and chatting in the back rooms instead.

Oh wait. That's me. Eep.

[identity profile] pjpettigrew.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 11:26 am (UTC)(link)
Peter will help with the prank wars, I suspect. He WAS a Marauder, after all.

Oh noooo. I invited a *marauder* to live in my house. We're all dooooomed.

[identity profile] muddypetticoats.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 11:33 am (UTC)(link)
This is all too true.

I'm beginning to feel really sorry for the other inhabitants of that house...

Laughing at my pain is mean.

[identity profile] pjpettigrew.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 10:36 am (UTC)(link)
At the moment, Peter's being halfway civilised. He doesn't know about Bartleby and Liz yet.

He was too distracted to notice at that point, and the wounds healed a little while later by demonic fallback healing powers.

I started off fandom in the X-Files community - that is an official Scully Rational Explanation (SRE) :P

You weren't OBSSE, were ya?

Why yes indeed!!! Sis Vivien. Many of my real life friends here in Denver are OBSSE-ers too.

Rawk.
Ah, that was a simpler time...

Much... good times, good times.

Did you ever participate in chat or anything?

[identity profile] miscellanny.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Hee! XF! Me too.

[identity profile] pjpettigrew.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 11:30 am (UTC)(link)
Well, there was the arm holding, the thing with the tongue (which Peter suspects may have been poisonous to Kassandra), and the fact that she re-materialised all bloody. Which Peter only saw from a distance. Peter's thinking in terms of, "She was wounded by the demon, so she fled." He's wrong, but that's what he thinks.

[identity profile] anthy-rosebride.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 02:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Sadly, Anthy's not. I don't have a death wish. Why am I playing a character with a death wish?

[identity profile] pjpettigrew.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 02:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Because she doesn't have a death wish. She has a life wish. If you can die, that means that you were human and alive.

I think that Anthy is very tired of being a toy, a mirror, a sheath, a prize, a doll and a Rose Bride. She wants to be a person, not a role. And she doesn't quite know how to do it.

...how's that? asks my wizard character innocently.

[identity profile] anthy-rosebride.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Peter should become the resident psychiatrist. (And Paul can be his evil twin.)

Canonically speaking, she does have an actual death wish, but strangely, it's not a huge factor in her behavior. Leaves plenty of room for a life wish, too. I like that interpretation. *g*

Sadly, I do not see personhood in her near future.

[identity profile] pjpettigrew.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 03:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Peter Pettigrew and Paul Morlock as brothers? That is a terrifying thought.

Glad you like the interpretation, though.

Well, I've got Bartleby responding at least somewhat normally to Ingress. I think I'll consider that a job well done.
