Well, howdy, everyone! For those who missed it last night, Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist has returned to the bar. He is being played by his original mun (again), so it's a little more than a simple "retcon everything from the past" kind of situation -- hence this post, just to clarify everything.

snapcrackleburn in the past is to be considered CANON. If your pup met Roy at that time, then they would recognise him now. This is, of course, barring any events in their own canon that would affect this, really bad memories, retcons/reboots for the pup, etc. Again, all of

snapcrackleburn's past activity is to be considered canon.

Any interaction by

desert_aflame is to be considered retconned.

If you go back and read Roy's EP from 13 September, I made an OOC note of it. However, to go over it again:

Roy has always been placed after the FMA film in terms of where in canon he's being played from. Between when I had to adopt him out due to illness a long time ago and when I re-adopted him recently, he has been locked out of the bar. Three years in Amestrian time (i.e. how Roy has been measuring time, what with being out of the bar) have passed since then; Roy was formally sworn in as the Fuhrer of the reformed martial government one year ago.

(As a note related to that, a government controlled by the Military was reinstated after it became apparent that a civilian government was not capable of adequately handling crisis situations. Roy's rebuilding of the system has involved civilians and includes something resembling a parliament/civilian cabinet of advisors. In case you were wondering where the govermental system mentioned at the end of the series ran off to.)

When Roy entered the Bar for the first time, he was placed approximately one year and seven months following the series. Thus, he is now almost five years post-FMA, broken down as follows:

1 years, 7 months between series end and first EP;
3 months between first EP and when I had to adopt him out;
3 years between when he was locked out of the bar and his most recent EP.

Thanks that pretty laid out. I'm sure It will be a little strange interacting with Roy at first, mainly because our characters are from different time streams. Should make form some interesting RP.
