Thom arrives as Alanna is searching for something to drink and begins teasing her about her new attire. Insisting she's not trying to impress anyone, Alanna defends her right to like pretty things. Thom reassures her that despite his teasing, she looks nice in a gown.
Paul arrives and begins taunting Alanna. She asks Paul to join them. Thom insists that Paul reminds him of Alanna's friend Raoul and she strenuously disagrees. Thom greets Paul and makes sure he's acquainted with Alanna. Determined not to let Paul get the best of her, Alanna performs a few parlor tricks of her own and unwittingly triggers one of his unpleasant memories. Intrigued by his obvious discomfiture, she attempts and fails to solve the mystery that is Paul.
Meanwhile, the Player arrives and greets Alanna who in turn introduces her to Thom and Paul. Recalling Alanna's suggestion that she try and recruit Thom for her acting troupe because he is so enamored of glory, The Player approaches Thom but he remains unconvinced. Alanna remembers her promise to think up a new name for the Player and makes a suggestion. She is not particularly good at naming things so her suggestion is firmly rejected. Paul continues to toy with the Player. She is undaunted and returns the favor. Paul explains how he managed to burn to death while drowning and the Player is suitably impressed.
Alanna, enjoying her new dress, likens Meg's good taste to that of George's mother Eleni. Thom pretends not to know who Eleni is and Alanna reminds him that he injured her with his magic the night he resurrected Roger. Annoyed, Alanna mercilessly chastises him yet again for stealing her own magic that night. Thom asks if she still has any of his tainted magic. Alanna replies in the negative and they get very schmoopy as they discuss Thom's art lessons and Sario's painting. Alanna is suspicious of both Sario and Thom's motives and wonders why Pepper previously discussed the possibility of a deeper relationship between the two. The twins briefly joke about their oft used excuse that insanity runs in their family before Alanna makes Thom mad by returning to the subject of Roger. Still slightly miffed, she apologizes and bids him good night.
After the naming fiasco and through the magic of Milliways time, Alanna also gets completely trashed with the Player. They discuss popular names in their respective kingdoms and the Player decides upon Sam. Alanna is confused by "Sam's" many references to dying well and drunkenly concedes she would like to see Sam exhibit her peculiar talent. Sam subsequently pretends to stab herself and acts dead. Alanna is convinced the knife is real and drunkenly tries to help her. They both wind up on the floor. Returning to the table, they haphazardly discuss love, magic, twins and inexplicably, purple horses. Sam soon passes out and Alanna gleefully pockets her trick knife before weaving her way to bed.

Basically, I'm going to RP Delia when I come back properly instead of sneaking...I was just wondering if I could play Delia having escaped in the aftermarth of Jonathan's cornation, via Roger's Gate. I can do the whole jailbird thing too, if need be, but I like the idea of the Gate.
So, pretty please?

That icon is unbelievably perfect. Who is that?

Well, miss Delia is going to feel duty bound to Roger's memory to try and kill Alanna...or at least, make her very unhappy. She hateses Alanna, yes she does. I've already had her bump into Thom here (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/646966.html) if your curious.
Seeing as I won't be able to sneak online for a while, email is 1632@cggs.act.edu.au
Almudena Fernandez, a Spanish model...I think. But I'm glad you like!

*spits water all over computer screen* You have keeled me dead. :P
BTW, I'm a third of the way through The Golden Key. It's oh so twisted. I love it.
