It's kind of amazing to realize that I've been a part of a game, but more importantly a part of this community for THREE YEARS. One of the two people who originally pulled me in is gone (thank you in absentia, Snow White-mun!) but![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
gypsyjr is still around, and you can blame my presence on her "Milliways: Sleep? What's Sleep?" icons making me curious enough to look into playing an LJ RP for the first time in ever.
I've met so many friends here. I'm tempted to list them, but I know I'll forget someone just because I'm a ditz and then they'd be hurt (and also, wowza, it'd pretty much be the whole game, so sorta pointless) so skipping that. I think the only name I'll put here iscamwyn, who took me into her apartment having only met me in person once and with our characters knowing more about one another than we did [that being gone_byebye and wellthrownstone, for reference]. It's stuff like that (and all the people who helped me move out, and all the people I've met at cons, and you people that I phone almost every day just to chat so that Cingular doesn't go out of business, and the rest I IM almost all the time because phoneses is too expensive) which mean that I can honestly say this game has changed my life. For the better, I like to think, even if it's a little unconventional.
There's been some scraps too (every gamer has had issues over something at some point) but they pale in comparison to all the wonderful RP, the wonderful friends, the wonderful writing, and the wonderful experience that it's been with all of you in all directions. From Apropos to Zeke (...yeah, I have had enough characters here that I can have an A and a Z and possibly the rest of the alphabet), it's been awesome.
