So. There's a Mercutio inna bar. For the first time, in oh, like, half a year. Or even longer. Yay! Coupla things:

1. He has been around, sort of. If your pup is a friend of his, they're likely to have seen him a couple of times since I've been gone, but maybe not within the last month. He's been hiding.

2. Pleaseplease tag. I don't know how long I can be on tonight, but I am so up for slowtime and people tagging the post sometime next week or anything. Why so desperate?, you ask. Beeecause on Saturday I go up to Cambridge, and I don't know when I'll be able to play again, and I've missed playing Merc, so I want some action. :D

3. It's been so long. Don't judge me if he's crap. NO JUDGING.

4. Since it's been a while, anyone who doesn't know Merc: he's fully aware of Shakespeare and all, so no canon-puncturing stress. He's also craaaaaazy.

5. AIM is Kenovay. Tonight, I am actually on it. I know, the shock, you may die.

I was an Emma boy between '93 and '97. I miss that place every damn day.

I almost applied to Emma! Because they have ducks. But I ended up applying to Girton, due to their indoor heated swimming pool.

I genuinely am that shallow. :D

What did you read?

Ooh. Girton. Much bike riding ahead. :) I only ever made it out there once, and to be honest it was a pretty boozy experience, so I can't remember much about it. I'm sure it was nice though. I also remember beating them at footie in Cuppers during my first year, in a big upset win.

I totally abused the Tripos system and read Law for two years, SPS for one (which didn't work out so well) and finished up with a II.2 in Management Studies.

I have the world's prettiest bike ever, so I am actually rather looking forward to the biking. :D

I nearly tried that too, but kinda ran out of years. I, um, wasn't the most focused student to ever grace our hallowed institution. *shifty*

*giggles* I can't cope with the amount of choice, frankly. Choosing my ASNAC subjects is going to be hard enough, but then my college mother was like, "And next year you can choose things from the History and English departments." I was filled with horror.

Ooooh. Merc. Mordred's gone quiet, and I'm sorta thinking of retiring him (I know, despite our plans in January), buuuuuut I have a Marlowe?

Noooooo, Mordred! Was just rereading old threads. :( No chance of one before you retire him? And Marlowe would be AWESOME. I'm kinda heading bedwards, but if you post in we could slowtime?

He is in a bad, bad headspace, and I Don't Want To Deal With It, basically. I'm giving it another month, though.
