Reminder!
For those of you who missed it the first time 'round: Kira will be totally redefining "zoology" as "the study of being in Milliways."
This rolls the 1-7 of October, meaning you have two days to find icons. :D
Quick summary of the major points:
1. Pick a real-world animal, please. It can be a canonical beast if you run it by me with compelling logic ("it'll be FUN!" will likely be considered compelling, since if your pup is TRULY more like a chocobo than an earth animal, how would I know?) BUT it can be nothing mythical/mystical. Why do I set this limit? Because if Kira can make your pup an invisible pink unicorn, or if she can turn everyone into things from their home universes, Kira is vastly overpowered. That is A Problem for me. Sorry.
2. You don't have to sit in the chair of transformation! You just have to touch it! And said transformation does not hurt, but does have appropriate lag before the change so nobody dies before they get to their watery habitat.
3. The animal will not have powers (not very negotiable at all,) or defining marks (. . . somewhat negotiable, if it'll be amusing,) matching the victim's. The spell takes the person's inner nature, not the marks of experience or condition of their current body.
4. How quickly your pup learns to speak in their animal's tongue so the translator will work? Up to you. Whether or not the pup is recognised depends entirely on the say-so of the mun of that pup.
5. How much your pup's behavior changes to match the body? Also up to you. My pups will behave fairly like their animal counterparts because it's their natures revealed. If your pup descends nearly totally into being an armadillo, that's up to the mun; if your pup is a pig still trying to wear bedroom slippers, so's that.
. . . do I look like I want to get after you for not RPing a triggerfish?
I think that's it. Last-minute questions?

There's still the chance of other pups telling that one "I'm a snail and when I quit trying to speak English and spoke snail instead I could talk fine!" But, yanno, against inherent dignity to speak sea urchin, or they can't let go of their dignity enough, or they aren't in tune enough with their inner sea urchin. . .
