I am a compulsive summarizer. Yaaaay.

Seeing as how I seem to have Milliways-induced insomnia tonight, I figured I might as well try to encapsulate a few wayward threads.

ETA: LJ-cut, for your convienence.

Thread the First: Ash, Hellboy and Will - In Which The Plot Thickens Like Three-Day Old Pea Soup.
After Ash and Hellboy exchange Tough Guy pleasantries, Will arrives and reluctantly shares what he knows. There's a lot of talk of prophecies, destiny and the like and Will-mun impresses us all by throwing some actual (albeit twisted) mythology into the mix. HB and Ash assure Will that they'll be careful and he wishes them luck.

Undead Smackdown to follow. And really, how often does anyone  get to say that?

Thread the Second (And technically Third): Scott, Edward, and Moiraine - Nothing Happens, But It's Cute and Angsty.
Scott enters the bar, looking a bit worse for wear. Edward shows up to say hi, and as usual, there's hugs all around. Food is procured and there's a rather amusing discussion about brothers and their practical jokes.

Afterwards (actually at the same time, but who cares, this is Milliways), Scott recognizes Moiraine from across the room and heads over for a chat. She fills him in on the bar theft, and observes his exhaustion, which she then proceeds to cure using her powers. They recall the Yrael incident and Scott tells her about his not-very-secret-at-Milliways secret rescue organization. There's a bit of vaguely philosophical talk about technology and magic in which Scott quotes Arthur C. Clarke. (It's actually a combination of magic and technology that's allowing him to get to Milliways, but he doesn't know that.)  An innocent question from Moiraine leads him to recall the circumstances of his mother's death - naturally, angst ensues.  Poor boy. Somebody needs some therapy.

At that point, I wussed bowed out to go get some sleep. (or so I thought.) Thanks to all the players I've interacted with, past and present, for making this such an enjoyably brain-draining experience. :)

Only at Milliways would I end up spending half an hour researching Sumerian mythology just so I could twist it beyond recognition into Army of Darkness demon-prophecy. Whee!

(It was fun, actually. I felt rather like Giles, though, looking through ancient mythology and marking down everything that could be interpreted, with a bit of squinting, as referring to a demon...)

An innocent question from an Aes Sedai? Now there's an intriguing concept. ;)

No, it's true, she wasn't trying to do that, not at all. :)
