More NaNo Questions/Random

And lemme know if I start getting old, yeah? It's just this:

I just got home from eight hours solid of staring at a computer screen. At the exact same computer file. How does one do that and then come home for one's daily Nano'ing? Do I just lack endurance?

Also: who is doing original and who is doing fanfic? *curious*

I'm not doing Nano, but have you tried good ol' pen and paper? Sometimes when I'm tired of sitting in front of my computer typing I like to step away and write down the story for awhile. Which usually lasts until the thoughts come to fast for me to write and I need to go type them down.

Also, like the above suggested, reading, watching TV, knitting, et cetra. Anything to just get away from the computer for an hour or two before going back to it.

I'm finding that a notebook and pen are working wonders for my wordcount! I banged out more than 2200 words on Sunday -- and you can always slip in more when you're typing.

Also, am doing original. It feels marrrrvelous. :)
