New meme!
So here's something I've been curious about for a while. Probably since...wow, probably since Millicon, when
neenie ran her panel about music and RP.
Do any of you keep character-specific playlists, either for fun or to help you get in character? If you do, what's on them?
I'll start: here's the one I have for Sylar.
What about you?

... in a nice, wholesome way.
I don't do this myself, really, but I probably should. I always think "oh, that fits _____" when I listen to songs. I could probably come up with one for Ben Skywalker in about ten minutes. And only half of it would be Linkin Park!

...zombie puppies, maybe. Er. *eyedart*

Ray's is around here somewhere and I have to check it over, because there are a few things that need to be added to it. Most notably the Ghostbusters In Black mashup by MC Sleazy, Forever Young by Alphaville, and Not The Boy Next Door (Peter Allen, writer; Hugh Jackman, performer).

(I am full of intelligent commentary.)
I've been impressed.

One of these days I'm going to have to find some more pictures of his adult PB with a shirt on. I picked an Olympic swimmer out and it's damned hard to find anything of him in clothes other than 'Olympic team zip-up jacket' or 'swimsuit'. And then I'm going to have to bring him in in his twenties.

I hope we can manage to be online synchronously sometime soon so they can meet. Ahaha. Haha. Mwaha.

I'm afraid that headvoice likes dark, drum-heavy music. Somehow, not so astonishing.
Asar-Suti, though, has exactly one theme song: Un Mauvais Dieu by the Breton folk-rap band Manau. And Maglor, whom I have retired, had his entire own album by Blind Guardian.-

I stole your layout idea, it looks nice like that.
Maybe I'll do another one later.

I don't have one.
I WILL GO MAKE ONE WHEN I GET HOME.
If not horribly distracted by SPN Netflix arrivals.
And now with bonus actual hotlink...
Of them all, for me, I Ain’t Scared Of Lightning by Tom McRae is probably the Sam song:
I ain’t scared of lightning
Come on and do your worst
If they gave degrees for cheating destiny
Then man, I got a first
No I ain’t scared of lightning
It's the same old empty threat
I've been standing proud beneath the gathering cloud
And man, I ain't dead yet
But also, pretty much the entirety of Voltaire's 'Almost Human' album.

I own the soudntracks from Star Trek II, Batman, and the PotC films, though, and while it's more the music runs in my head without the need of electronics, I know where I can go to find the music if need.

There are two exceptions to that rule:
(Also, Destruction has one, and only one, song.
Well. Two. But. The first one more.)

That said, Medusa is generally Passion, Omar Faruk's Dance into Eternity, or Dead Can Dance, while Marlowe is generally also Dead Can Dance (albeit another CD) and medieval/renaissance music.
AJ's Nickleback, her canon soundtrack, and Sisters of Mercy.
But, again, a lot of it depends on the atmosphere I need to create.

I will do, once I get around to it!

I don't really have a playlist written out for him but it involves music more for mood than anything. A lot of Tom Petty. Almost all of Highway Companion is a given.
Saving Grace is a definite one.
Flirting With Time is probably my Doc/Billy song for how he feels about it all.
Johnny Cash works, sometimes. Bon Jovi works for the more badass moments, but hey it is a 'bratpack Western'.

Valerie's the only other character with a soundtrack -- a fair amount of Ani DiFranco, some Vienna Teng, and stuff from the V for Vendetta soundtrack, of course -- but for all my pups, I tend to wander around my iTunes library a lot. Sometimes I'll do off-the-cuff playlists with the search function: "tonight" for sad one-night things, "want" for love-in-idleness, stuff like that.
I really ought to get more Heavy Trash and Speedball Baby for Epimetheus' soundtrack; "Gatorade" may be appropriate sometimes, but not constantly.

Given that I've actually got two bigass playlists for my girl (which one is running depends on the mood), the highlights are over here.

"Numb" still makes me wibble when it comes up on my iTunes.

Will post a playlist when I've gone through my Milli24 playlist and sorted out all the Jack ones.

I have... three various Rent-inspired playlists (yes, I know the canon's a musical, that didn't stop me!), one Sneakers playlist that I posted on
