"Life Support."
"At Christmas?"
"Some people have nowhere else to go today."
Following the IC discussion between Guppy and Miniver last night, Life Support will be holding a Christmas/Hogswatch/Insert holiday of your choice party on the 25th December (Tuesday).
All are welcome to turn up on the day if they desire, but there's an informal sign-up list for the free lunch. Come challenge Guppy with your unusual dietary requirements!
Further OOC details to follow.

Guppy doesn't mind sorting out the catering in any direction so long as it's a real holiday and not the 'Feast of caviar, truffles and champagne'.

I'll probably turn up around early evening GMT - I haven't chatted exact logistics with Ven yet.

reluctantlybe around. I will more than likely be on net in the evening, after the Doctor Who special. And stay on aaaalll night. *loser*no subject
And nothing wrong with being online at Christmas.

I would also like to say this is a very nice idea for all bound and/or dead pups, or even just ones who don't wanna go near home. Yay for it.

Guppy will cater for her if she lets him know what she'd like.

I apply the same general idea to most holidays in the Trekverse, religious or not. Color me weird.

I mean sheesh, there still might be non-religious stories, but a commercial Father Christmas? *facepalms again*
And I don't know. The scene in Generations seemed less about the holiday and more about Picard's desire to have children of his own, so maybe it would've squeaked under the irritation-o-meter if Roddenberry had seen it. Maybe not, though.
