Arg. So many attractive people to flirt with, and so much smuttiness going on, and my character had to go and fall head over heels in love with Tom Riddle, of all people, thus removing me from all smutty suggestive flirtation. Arg.

Yeah, I know. On both counts. I've just started getting into Buffy, too...

It's all right. The first thing I did upon getting OotP was flip ahead to see who died, so... *shrugs*

(P.S. I might be bringing in a new male character. Not sure yet. It's hard to decide which one.)

My two options are remarkably testosterone-filled. One is mildly cracked, and has magical-like powers (although it's not really magic, per se). The other doesn't have those powers, which is good cos he hates magic, is really standoffish, quite lecherous, and has remarkable luck, especially at games of chance. Hrm.

I shouldna said nuthin. I'd wanted whatever char I chose to be a surprise. But meh.

Both are from Wheel of Time. Rand al'Thor and Mat Cauthon. I'm undecided.

You've got to be damn brave to attempt Wheel of Time. It's the neverending series. It's also mad complex. I've been fighting through the series for, oh, about 7 years now.

Female characters. Hmm. What kinds of fandoms are you in?

[identity profile] muddypetticoats.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm. Do you read Goodkind? Perhaps Kahlan, in that case...

...

I will love you whichever you pick. Really and truly. (And hey, now I have an excuse to go reread the one's I've got.)

Another WoT fan? w00t!

Any opinions on the two? I'm seriously torn. I'd be a little better at Rand, I think, but Mat would be a challenge. Rand would be fun with his channeling and insanity, but there are a lot of cracked characters. Mat would be a lecherous sod, but I can just see him dicing with the Lady. ARGH! Decisions.

Not to mention... FF and WoT? I think you're my new best friend. :)

I've only read about a quarter of one of the books, but still I demeand Mat!!!

Can't stand WoT myself (I TRIED to read them, dammit! I TRIED!) but I think you should go Mat, you're right with all the cracked characters we have here.

*grin*

We could always do with more lecherous sods, silly. Though Rand would indeed be cool, as we can always do with more crazy people.

Trouble is that I've been in book eight for over a year now (no time for pleasure reading). Mat doesn't have that much of a presence in this one, by comparison. I'll have to do a bit of background skimming.

Oh, really??? *looks intrigued*

I say this because I'm toying with the idea of playing Moiraine Damodred as well. ;) If she's not been claimed, that is (*runs off to check cast list*)

*laugh*

No worries, she's on her way. Left my house about 20 minutes ago, which means she should be around in another quarter-hour or so...?

Well, well. Since all things are possible in Tel'aran'rhiod... hm.

(Like I need another character. Yikes. And yet... *is tempted*)

I know what you mean. I need another character like I need a bullet to the head. But ooh, so tempting...
