Reprints of Dr Who comics from the 70s, I believe.

Holy bejeebus, new X-Force is a TRAIN WRECK. How can you go wrong with Clayton Crain on art and James Proudstar as a main character?! Somehow, Marvel managed to.

What's in the Indiana Jones Omnibus?

I have all the previous runs from Marvel and Dark Horse. Is it a collection of those, or something new leading up to IJ4?

The Marvel stuff was pretty lame too, but readable. That being said, the stories were overly fantastic, even for Indy canon. E.g. a frozen dragon gets thawed out by the Japanese army and intended for use as a military weapon, and Indy ends up flying on it as part of its rescue and refreezing. Unsurprisingly, that run was terminated after 32 issues, mid-plot arc.

Dark Horse came onto the scene later, and had presented nicer artwork but even worse story-lines and script. It's a tough call to say which was better overall, really.

Full runs of both are available on [livejournal.com profile] canonshare under the Indiana Jones tag.
