Summary of Bartleby's Sordid Seduction...

Our story starts here. watch_waitBartleby, reeling from a conversation with aj_crawleyCrowley that ended with a nasty little dig at his sexuality, which, coming after almost-drunken flirting with the golden white_to_goldFool, struck a little close to home, and not really able to cope with the testosterone that having a complete body has given him, is a weeny bit close to the edge. muddypetticoatsLiz, on the other hand, is freaked out by Crowley.

Bartleby starts by giving Liz vodka (which he later tells her isn't very strong). Bartleby advises Liz to ignore Crowley, an idea which he seems to have a problem with. Liz receives her first kiss. Bartleby gives her more vodka, and a second kiss, which is returned. [Everyone who is seeking Bartleby's head on a platter, notice this section. Reciprocation, dammit. For a while, anyway.] Bartleby pours her yet more vodka.

Liz then moves to a table. Bartleby follows, and, shockingly enough, continues with the whole vodka theme. He then makes his  first attempt at moving the action upstairs. It goes straight over Liz's head. Bartleby is less subtle. Still the beautiful Liz completely misses the point. Bartleby, getting a bit desperate, kisses Liz again, less gently. She comes to her senses and slaps him.

And then Bartleby flees, leaving a mess behind him.

I'm so ashamed of myself. Anyone else got anything to add?

Pretty links. Lovely angst. *applauds*

You forgot the part where Anthy beats the zombie horse back into its grave. Several times. (Okay, no you didn't, 'cos that came after.)

Here on your right (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/73934.html?thread=2155214#t2155214), Anthy quotes Bartleby's attempted seduction, and follows it with a reference to Bartleby's bloody past and dreams.

Later (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/76361.html?thread=2249545#t2249545), Anthy makes a few less-than-subtle references to the cow incident, and again quotes Bartleby.
