Bruce psyche ramblings.

So, I've been thinking about Bruce's psyche (this is in no way a big surprise).

Firstly, he's a very angry little boy, but he doesn't quite know that yet. It will come to a head eventually, which is why he is waiting for Death (and yes, I know Death-mun is having RL issues, so I can wait). Right now, he suspects the Universe of being a highly unfair place, but this has not been confirmed, so he is biding his time.

Secondly, he is training for something. He does know what, only that it is very important. He's not driven by revenge, per se, but more the desire to prevent what has happened from happening again. Of course, he is eight, so his ideas on the matter are very fuzzy. We'll see if they evolve.

Thirdly, I have realized their is a distinct possibly of him dehumanizing those who have hurt him. Now, but personally and canonically, this is *wrong*, so if anyone wants to call him on it feel free. I will most likely have his psyche do it at some point, but it's a bit early yet for that kind of deep thinking on his part.

Oh, and fourthly? If you're a character who knows what Bruce will become, please don't spoil him. I want to see what happens if he doesn't know and has the possibly of changing (a la Tom).

That's it for pointless character ramblings.

Any way Raph can be of service in any of your endeavors, you just let me know. But, bear in mind he's never really had contact with kids before, and as such, may play a little bit rough.

As for the spoiling thing. Raph dismissed the only thought he had on the matter. He just didn't want to think about tangling with a little Incredible Hulk. What?! That guy's name was Bruce too.

about the revealing to bruce... Tim is from the same world, and all he knows is that Bruce Wayne is a multimillon dollar playboy.... if they meet, is that something that can come out?

Excllent, just making sure.

Bruce may be a very angry boy, but he's angry in a way that makes half the people who meet him want to give him a hug and take him home and protect him. Vertigo's relation to the DCverse is wonky at times, so I'm playing Snow such that she hasn't really heard of either the comic or the kajilionare playboy from Gotham; she tends to keep her thoughts within Fabletown and loses track of the century sometimes, so I think that's reasonable.

As I said earlier, Andrew's going with the Doc Brown line of reasoning that it's a bad idea for anybody to know too much about his own future. So he's not likely to tell li'l Bruce anything more about his dark yet awe-inspiring destiny, except possibly for the fact that he's got one.
