So tonight in Chicago there's supposed to be this big thing called Looptopia, which is billed as a big block party for the arts from dusk 'til dawn. The weather forecast is calling for severe thunderstorms all day. I think the same thing happened last year, and this is only the second year of the event. It sounds cool in principle, but I got other things to do that don't threaten to get me sick as a dog. (I swear, I'm like some delicate Victorian woman -- put me in weather-related vapours and I'm just like, "O! o! o! *sneezecoughhack*")

Anyway, sucks to be them. Last night I watched the Dark Angel where the Jam Pony crew goes to a strip club. How is it that we have no Normal at Milliways? He is so effing wonderful.

I...lost interest in BSG in season two. Season two of Lost was ridiculous beyond words, season three of SPN seemed full of AAAAAAAAAAANGST aaaaaand...

Last night's Lost was pretty kickass. Haven't watched Supernatural yet, but it's on the DVR. And BSG makes me flail--I know it's damn good television but I find it really hard to follow.

And new Who tomorrow. *dances the dance of Donna superiority*

Last week's BSG was better than the week before, but uh... that wasn't exactly a huge challenge for me. But it had things that amuse me, like (only really vaguely spoilery)->Baltar getting beat up, so.

And still more papers and a couple of finals next week.

I saw that catch up with BSG in 8 minutes thing, but I'm still like uh... whut? canon blender much? That and I still remember the original series.

Might youtube a marathon sometime? I stopped watching Lost sometime around season 2-3. Dead Zone's been cancelled, still waiting on Heroes webisodes, watching DW and TW when I can.

Dude, it's Friday and with new job and what have you, I haven't watched BSG since the premiere. I am a bad mun and Kara is punishing me by being sulky and refusing to talk to me.

- Knox was knocked out of Assassin in day three (as suits a man of his skills). He would like to know what's going on though.

- We haven't seen Lost yet (which is usual, since we like to save it till after we've digested SPN). And we intentionally held off on Doctor Who and will watch the seeming two-parter in one session next week.

- We have a TV crew here doing a story on the new exhibition, but they are doing intros for their arts show as well. And there is a segment on the Cannes Film Festival. Which led to the question, "how do you pronounce Cannes?" Is it like Khan or like Can?
