Miniplot: Dominic vs. the Big Orange Thing

Okay, so, you may have noticed Dominic just came in, and he's not alone.

He's entered Milliways from his mindscape. The creature with him is a viral spell that's been 'programmed' to seek out and destroy the infectee's second sight. Basically, it's a semi-sentient, not-very-bright monster that eats magic. The virus is blind and deaf but can sense magic and psychic ability. Anyone with appreciable amounts of either one is a viable target for the virus; everything and everyone else is simply an obstacle for it to blunder into on the way to its meal.

The post will be open for tags through tomorrow evening. Please ping leeshajoi on AIM if you have any questions or ideas about the havoc that is about to be unleashed.

ETA: I should specify that I don't expect anyone to be actually harmed by the virus spell, just that it'll run around and snap at our resident psychics and cause a lot of property damage. Likewise, the virus itself may be injured, but it needs to be kept alive for the next canon plot point, plz kthx.

...If my threadbrain were on hand, I'd suggest tossing a bucket of soapy lemon water at it.

I can see if the threadbrain makes any suitable reappearances tomorrow?

. . . Ooooh.

Well, the day today is dedicated to finals stuff, but. *eyes the evening*

I'm torn between Nita, who I keep meaning to throw at Dominic anyway and who could use some action, or Tom, who would do a lovely job as a freaking out innocent bystander. Decisions, decisions . . .

How would this virus react to deities?

There are certainly a number of them around, myself included of course.

And nymphs!

*is in the wrong journal for that, but. Yes.*

How could I have forgotten the nymphs or the gorgon?
