What sorts of other communities or journals have you created for personal, non-RP related use? Consider this self-pimping time, if you'd like.

[livejournal.com profile] soustitres: A movie review project I started with, yes, my mother. Recent addition is Iron Man squee.

[livejournal.com profile] muji_crack: Started when I locked my journal, for anything I felt putting up for popular consumption; woefully neglected.

[livejournal.com profile] traductions: A place of negligible English-speaking content.

Iiiiiiii'm a dork.

[livejournal.com profile] withdaemons -- for things with daemons in!

[livejournal.com profile] shenanigenrpf -- for, uh, gen real person fic. I just posted a bodyswap story there! It was my first time that wasn't, y'know, Jon Spencer. Or the Beatles when I was 12. You do not want to know how much Beatles fic I wrote at that age, before I even knew other people did that sort of thing.

Also, because I am a bad person, I am squatting at the name [livejournal.com profile] bringstheflood (NEKO!), which I'm hoping to use for a writing project, once I get my BigBang crap all done and in order.

There's also [livejournal.com profile] go_ungently, for everyone who thinks Missouri Mosely and Ellen Harvelle should hit the road and fight evil together, but it's not quite ready for public consumption yet.

[livejournal.com profile] ice_box: is a repository for my puppets, past and present. I used to try and actually post stuff in it, but now it's more just like a "badge" on my pups userinfo and so I can go somewhere if I forget how many I really do have, and who they are.

[livejournal.com profile] polar_paws: my neglected writing journal. There is stuff in it, just nothing terribly recent.

[livejournal.com profile] dear_mun: yep, technically mine. I started it over four years ago but it's way out of my control now.

[livejournal.com profile] pythfic: Fanfiction!

I, uh, actually think that's it. xDD

Uuuuh. WELL. There is [livejournal.com profile] iconses which I use to update my icons site because I guess I had the crazy idea of sticking an rss thingy for the news section.

There's [livejournal.com profile] woographics where I actually post icons. Sometimes.

[livejournal.com profile] 337 which is a collection of the puppets I've played. I..may have to do some spring cleaning and add in the ones that aren't there already.

[livejournal.com profile] moretomorrow is a mirror of one of my blogs.

[livejournal.com profile] capsandstuff is a mirror of my caps blog.

Um.

[livejournal.com profile] minific is where I've put fic. It all tends to be short.

What else? There are a bunch of communities, but I'm not sure that they count within the scope of the question.

OH [livejournal.com profile] rachelarmy which I started and never got around to do anything with. Mostly concerned with my long standing plans for world domination.

[livejournal.com profile] lucyjanesparlor, for the fannish pursuits. Mostly fic, occasionally icons.

[livejournal.com profile] soda_and_pie, a shoot-the-breeze comm that I haven't figured out how to run, quite.

[livejournal.com profile] jjquixoticquest, for info about my published works.

[livejournal.com profile] get_tw_laid, a Torchwood smutfic comm, because my response to censorship, apparently, is always "MORE PORN."

But you're a dork we LOVE. DORK LOVE!!!

I've only got [livejournal.com profile] riverwalking for my original stuff, like the Zombie Radio Project. It's pretty quiet right now since I'm only letting betas work on the current final draft of ZRP, but it's still where the original stuff lives.

agonistes: a house in the shadow of two silos shaped like gramophone bells (chronicles)

[personal profile] agonistes 2008-05-05 02:12 pm (UTC)(link)
[livejournal.com profile] long_black_coat is where the fannish stuff goes. You can tell by the dates on things just how long it's been since I've finished non-Milliways anything.

(Except for Yuletide, but that's in the Yuletide archive.)

And [livejournal.com profile] sidelinedjester was for a creative project in my Arthurian Lit class I took in fall semester my junior year. My guess is that the images are gone, which takes some of the oomph out of it. I haven't looked at it in months.

I have... mostly a small forest of RP journals! But not entirely.

[livejournal.com profile] foodless_diet: Fic rec journal that I haven't updated in yonks. (Note to self, possible idea: turn into general-written-things squee?)

[livejournal.com profile] sto_helit_lace: Fic-posting journal. It badly needs (a) updates (as I've posted things to communities that I haven't linked there yet) and (b) a new name, once I can get my hands on a rename token.

[livejournal.com profile] mapsarecheating: Started as a Nano journal, has since become long-original-fic. Not lumped in with fanfic because I wanted tighter control over who reads what might end up published, one of these days.

Oh, and, uh. [livejournal.com profile] lower_tadfield? That's the result of high school me going '...wait, there's no Good Omens community? THIS MUST BE REMEDIED!' I'm not a very active maintainer, so I think most of the members don't know it's mine until something crops up I have to comment on, but.
Speaking of comms that grow beyond all reason.

[identity profile] timjr.livejournal.com 2008-05-05 03:18 pm (UTC)(link)
[livejournal.com profile] squishcreations is where all my old icons and fic can be found, since I f-locked down my journal.

Though now all my icons are posted over on IJ, at Lemony Freshness (http://asylums.insanejournal.com/lemonyfreshness). Which is technically a shared comm with my, heh, ex-girlfriend. But she has never posted there...

The only other particularly active journal I have is [livejournal.com profile] travelwright, which I originally started for a school writing project and have kept for all my Big Serious writing projects. Currently under the category of Big Serious writing projects are original plays, a full-blown screenplay for an Eleventh Doctor story (which I should really work on again, now that I've seen more of Donna Noble), at least two Young Wizards crossovers (and eventually a third, la la la), and quite a few creation myths . . .

*rues at you* I just added like fifteen more journal/communities things to my journalness!! Even if I would want them. *Rues now because....well. She can*

And mine:

[livejournal.com profile] mdstorytime: My original fic journal, which still has records of things more than new things. I need to start using this one again. As it's sitting there really getting so little love.

[livejournal.com profile] darkjesters: Comm for a group called the Dark Jesters in the live action role-playing renaissance reenacting game called Amtgard. Its quite old thought.

[livejournal.com profile] thehordecma: A group of people who camp together at the Council of Magical Arts Beltane and Samhain events. I don't think anyone or anything gets posted there either.

[livejournal.com profile] facethefuture: Witchy teaching comm I was going to run with [livejournal.com profile] sageness, but it never got off the ground so you will find nothing there.

[livejournal.com profile] grow_in_mind: A community I mod with [livejournal.com profile] sdelmonte and [livejournal.com profile] fire_and_a_rose, which inspired growth, thought, challenge, meditation, and is welcome to all people and all arenas of life.

[livejournal.com profile] travelingteabox: My pride and joy, and other times my source of needing to kill people. This is a project with four tea boxes circulating through the world, trying new tea, trading it out, getting rid of the tea in your house you don't like and keeping a journal of it along the way.

Way back when in my junior year of college (and, wow, it feels weird to say that), I spent a semester living abroad in Cairo. I made another journal called [livejournal.com profile] alqahira then, so that I could give that link to family members without having them all know about my main LJ, and crossposted all of my updates about how my semester was going.

I haven't done anything with it since. I keep vaguely thinking about doing so, and not feeling enough impetus to actually pick a new purpose for it. (It's not as if I update my main all that often, either.)

I also have another journal I made just for notes to myself, to-do lists and wish lists and reminders. Basically the kind of thing one might do in a private post, only this way it's more visible to me because it shows up on my friendslist. It's [livejournal.com profile] livealifeless, but there is seriously nothing there of interest to anyone else.

[livejournal.com profile] conspiranoia, which ought to see more use as a garden of real-life epileptic trees.

[livejournal.com profile] eyrie_fans, for those of us who like Eyrie Productions' work but can't get on the official forums because we somehow missed our chance to accept the acceptable-use policy.

[livejournal.com profile] wires_going_in is my writing journal that turned into a Wes/Inyri sexfic journal last :P

[livejournal.com profile] live_kate_live is something I technically mod...but haven't looked at in about a year MY BAD.

[livejournal.com profile] gimmethatjacket is something [livejournal.com profile] pirate_lass and I created together...and never use.

[livejournal.com profile] funtimes_high is a silly RPG that Jacee and I came up with...and [livejournal.com profile] thenextgen was something Jenny and I made up for our kidling pups in Milliways.

Weeeeeell, [livejournal.com profile] aura_da_gamer was my normal journal, but I don't write in it like that anymore, so I've turned it into my cooking journal. You can go there for recipes, pictures, and, if you pester me enough, to place orders. XD

[livejournal.com profile] alwaysdrabbles: my writing journal. Which does get update, sporadically, but I still need to finish sorting out the tags and my memories are a mess.

But mostly it's there so I can pretend to be organized and have my writings in one place.

[livejournal.com profile] book4allseasons, my college newsletter.
[livejournal.com profile] turgandbard, for work related stuff.
And I mod at:
[livejournal.com profile] bard_icons (Shakespeare icons), [livejournal.com profile] beyond_insane(Kara Thrace/Lee Adama shipper comm), [livejournal.com profile] full_colors (Starbuck comm), [livejournal.com profile] the_wireless (BSG fic newsletter), [livejournal.com profile] odd_man_rush (Hockey RPS), and [livejournal.com profile] hockey_macros (Hockey...macros, oddly enough)

[livejournal.com profile] twelfth_hour: It was a community created on the idea of an original noir game that I never fully developed, so it's since become my storage closet.

It's nothing more than a place to keep all the names of the puppets that I've created (with the intention of playing them) but wind up neglecting after the mood passes. Usually all it takes for me to forget the urge to play someone is making up the journal name.
