Daily Entertainment.

Hey all! Thanks to everyone who put up DE posts last week -- It was one less thing I had to think about while on travel, and it was appreciated.

Now that I am back, have a question inspired by my trip: What is the best (or worst, or most memorable) trip your pup has taken to a universe not their own? I always like to say that Mal's best one was his field trip with Ace to Random Beach Planet, with glowy grapes and naked purple women. :D :D :D I read that thread now, year(s?) later, and I'm still giggly at it.

Most of my pups have stayed in their respective universes so far.

...But Herc once ended up in DC and Wonder Woman tried to clean his clock.

Of all my pups? Barry Allen's trip to CSI Las Vegas with Sara Sidle, where they danced the night away at the Bellagio and then took a room for the night for the first time.

That said, my pups need to visit other people's worlds more. And other people need to visit mine more.

The opportunity has not really arisen for most of them, sadly. Though now that I have someone quite heroic, that may change.

Herc gets beat up by Wonder Woman (http://community.livejournal.com/scans_daily/5130715.html#cutid1), just to share.

Plourr went to see Serenity, recently, and that made me very happy, as did Hawkeye on Santo. Apart from that -- I don't know, mine haven't really done that much world-hopping! Riley went back and forth to Metropolis and Smallville a few times, and Plourr went and killed things during Armageddeon plot, and -- I can't really think of much besides that. Though there is an excursion planned to the Night at the Museum world with Larry, Dennis, and Jake. :D

I tend to mostly keep my characters in their own worlds, the same way that I stick to canon for the most part rather than going AU. It's just a personal preference. That said, if an opportunity arises and is awesome and the character would go, I am all for it! I do not go out of my way to avoid world-hopping. It is just that it is not, like, standard for any of my pups and their canons, the way that it is in, say, Doctor Who.

HI STEPH. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO BE AT WORK TODAY.

The conceit there being that in DC-verse mythos, Herc, well, raped Wonder Woman's mom Hippolyta.

But in Marvel-verse, Herc just seduced her and made with the doing it consentually.

A lot of other stuff's happened to him in other worlds but for Harry Wells I kind of have to come down in favour of his trip to John Preston's universe. It's not every day that you go uncontrollably werewolf and tear out your evil twin's throat.

Lucky! There is lots for me to do. I just don't want to do it. I am so restless. There is new Bones tonight, and it is epic season finale! And I am watching it with people! I want to go do that now! If I wriggle my nose hard enough, the network will play it at 10:30 A.M. and we will all magically be in one place to watch, right?

Also, someone on my f-list wrote a fic that I desperately want to read, but the disclaimer says that it is porny, and I don't know how non-worksafe that means. Gwaradifsdg!

(Also, I babble when sleep-deprived.)

Who is that in your icon? I keep seeing it in DE posts and wondering!

Marvel Herc is no despoiler! He's just Zeus' gift to women.

It is by [livejournal.com profile] nextian, who will hopefully not kill me for linking her name here. *rueful*

It's Crush from American Gladiators!

She is ridiculously pretty.

This is possibly why the icon keeps catching my eye. >_>

Barney probably will be wanting to.

Because this is Barney. He's not above that sort of thing.

Ray's had too many trips into other universes to count at this point, starting with the Timwar and including at least one jaunt into another patron's head via the realm of Dream. He's spent decades in the wrong universe twice, one of which involved hiding in the library from the things of the Cthulhu mythos, and he's been trapped in a cartoon universe for six months on end. And yet for some reason the war in Andrew Wells' world against the demon army of Wolfram and Hart sticks out most in memory, possibly because it was the first time he had to use the lightsaber as well as the proton pack.
