Hey all! Thanks to everyone who put up DE posts last week -- It was one less thing I had to think about while on travel, and it was appreciated.
Now that I am back, have a question inspired by my trip: What is the best (or worst, or most memorable) trip your pup has taken to a universe not their own? I always like to say that Mal's best one was his field trip with Ace to Random Beach Planet, with glowy grapes and naked purple women. :D :D :D I read that thread now, year(s?) later, and I'm still giggly at it.

...But Herc once ended up in DC and Wonder Woman tried to clean his clock.

That said, my pups need to visit other people's worlds more. And other people need to visit mine more.

Awwwww.
We might have to institute some sort of foreign exchange program or something.

I tend to mostly keep my characters in their own worlds, the same way that I stick to canon for the most part rather than going AU. It's just a personal preference. That said, if an opportunity arises and is awesome and the character would go, I am all for it! I do not go out of my way to avoid world-hopping. It is just that it is not, like, standard for any of my pups and their canons, the way that it is in, say, Doctor Who.
HI STEPH. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO BE AT WORK TODAY.

Hawkgirl? Hawkgirl's DC, and they're in the process of collapsing their multiversal experiences while Marvel continues to expand on same, so Kendra hasn't really been to many other verses. She hasn't been to any at Milliways, either, except the bar itself, although I suspect she's going to enjoy going to Clark's Earth as soon as I get my butt in gear and start that plot with Steph.
Lockjaw has been to more universes than every single Milliways character put together, and likes them all. He's particularly fond of the verse where the Kree deified him.
Random Side Note
You accidentally misread Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull as Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skrull

(Alright, so I haven't gotten a chance to see last week's SPN. So I read Wikipedia.
(I'm not sure I can watch it. I think I need to go to the liquor store first.)

Hmm, my pups take people to visit their worlds, but rarely visit other people's worlds. Woe, nobody wants my pups around, woe woe.
*g* Eh, how are you?
Ravin visits Neric's world, still in progress:

Matilda's the only one of my pups who's ever taken a serious trip to someone else's 'verse. And, uh, I think it was in a bunch of OOMs that never got posted. From, uh, well over a year ago.
...
Yeah.
Oh, and she went to Ray's 'verse and met Ecto. That was AWESOME. :D :D :D

... mostly off-screen, because I fail at OOMs, but it was his tenth birthday present from Sam (as in Garden State). N'aw.

Glad you're back, dearling!
Hokay, so trips. Bela liked ancient Rome a whole lot. Tom's gone to a few worlds, but many times it's been on missiony type things. Not so much fun for the tourist aspect. But Santo was fabulous. Ingress digs her trips to Valemar, of course.

Beyond that...um. *thinks* I know Wash visited Earth-That-Was a couple of times, and I keep wanting to say that he went somewhere else, too -- oh! Yes! Ace took him on a TARDIS trip one day, which he had a blast with. Mac's been to Andrew's world to help take down W&H (which didn't offer a lot of time for sightseeing), Deadwood by way of the stone angels (which sucked), and Sam and Dean's world (which was just a very, very brief visit to see the Impala).
Theoretically, Mercer can open the door to wherever he wants -- other worlds included -- but I haven't actually had him visit any of those worlds. Yet.
And Sam the Shoulder Angel visited the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. No, really.
*shakes tin cup, looks pleading* Spare some good luck for my third visit to the DMV?

Otherwise, I... don't think any of mine have visited anyone else's world. Not of my current crop, anyway; I think Jane visited Tim's world waaaaaaay back in the day. (So long ago I don't quite remember, anyway.) As Lexie mentioned, there's a plan in the works for people to visit Larry. I have no problem with the thought of doing that again, even if the prospect of NPCing half a museum or so mildly terrifies me. XD

In more recent play Lorne took Jack to Atlantis, and they went flying in a jumper. My flyboy loved it.

On the other side of the coin, I've lost count of how often he heads to Atton's world simply to drink and cause trouble, those are always fun.
I think probably my favorite one was Will and Kate going to New York City on their first date, it was so different from the Supergirl one and they were just sweet.

....and Dark Schneider in Ray's world using the most powerful magic he has (you can tell - in the Bastard!verse, the more powerful the magic you use, the more your clothes are destroyed, and that spell left him naked) to BLOW UP Father Dagon.

They should really get out more. Anybody wants a random tagalong to their world, let me know. :)
(And if anybody wants to visit a world besides their own, I can offer up Antony's Rome/Alexandria, Project Quantum Leap, medieval Spain, a low-gravity sylvan paradise, a superhero-parody world where all kinds of mayhem can happen and doesn't count as bad, Tesla's lab, a very dark gods-and-fae Minnesota and the region around Troy in the run-up to war. You want miniplots and quests and things, can do.)

Also being chased by dragons in Quinn's world.
But visiting Marrakesh (I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong now) with Indy to steal back the idol was probably the best.

In canon, her favorite off-world trip was probably Alaalu, in Wizard's Holiday, even if [SPOILER] happened there.
Most of my others have stayed in their own universes because the opportunity hasn't presented itself. Charles has been to Taos in DT/FF-verse a couple times.
Agh I have to go apply for a job today and I'm all flaily. D:

Last December, Draco took her to the Wizarding World for frolic and fun and Christmas shopping. In the middle of their July or so. While there, she discovered the joys of Honeydukes, talking mirrors, and trains, as well as the pains of her boyfriend's past wrongdoings, her in-laws' contempt, and an ex-girlfriend determined to ship a certain git off to the Aurors. But everything ended well and Draco and Mia ended up having a pretty good Christmas.
Pansy, too, since Mia was nice enough not to set her on fire. =D

And Axel took Elle to an island world and a desert. Unsurprisingly, she liked the one that involved less water better. But she has something else coming up that should... be fun for her, at least.

Samantha (Garden State) went to the Star Wars universe with Jaina, I belieeeve. We had so many plans for the two of them but they're all future plans with post-retirement. But just know that in the future, Sam takes Eliot to see Jaina on Csilla again and it's sweet. *nod*
Erm...John LIVES in a universe not his own? Though by this time, he has definitely MADE it his own.
Inyri went to Hawaii with Face once. That was sweet and fun.
Azula has gone with Axel somewhere. She either needs to talk to him again, or never again 'cause I can't handle Azula with FEELINGS for a BOY.
Allana WILL go to London one day. But for now she's got this whole LotF plot to do and it's all sad. Blah.
I think that's it. The rest of them have stayed in their own universes. I think o_O
