After reading Secret Invasion: Fantastic Four #1, I have decided Ben will not be in Miliways for a bit.

The issue left him in a situation he would not willingly step away from and while Bar can kidnap him, I just don’t feel like writing Ben vs Bar.

So until the next issue is published, he will not be in. But fear not, he is not being retired and he will be back.

Meanwhile, Shulkie's business partner is a Skrull. I wonder how Peter David is going to handle that one. Judging by the August solicits just put up, I'm hoping that David doesn't devolve into a cliched fight between Jen and Jazinda.

Also, RIP Rory Root. Every mention of comics I'm making this week needs a shout out to the marvelous Rory.

With the number of MU pups around I wonder if we shouldn't have a MU-ways community so we can talk about any effects SI may have on the canon we want for our pups in milliways_bar.

It would keep any "Oh my god it's a Skrull!" from happening. Then again, that could be interesting to work with.

We really should since right now the only Marvel comms are for the Xmen mutant pups, and Runaways has their own comm, but there's no general Marvel one.

I ask because Ben doesn't like to step on people's toes.

I think that's usually the way yeah. It's not official until we have min. 10 muns, but that's usually how ppl start comms, and back room's designed for posting about such things.

mu_ways sounds fine if marvelways wouldn't work. just something ppl can remember.

Well Ben's gonna be OOM for a few weeks so unless he's a skrull (like I would leave my Ben as a skrull) he'll tag when Kate's around. = ]

NP, she's gonna be holed up for a bit after plot anyway, and not feeling that social for a while. So it'll work out.

I'm just hoping the only skrull business for the YA is Teddy. Though the latest August previews in scans worries me a little.
