Did you know that when you look up 'rule 87 violation' in Google, the first link is to an entry in camwyn's LJ? *amused*

Essentially, my question is this: If said rule states that if an idea makes you giggle for more than 15 seconds then you should not be allowed to do it, then tag below with those ideas. Could be RL ideas, RP ideas, fic ideas, vid ideas...Anything.

Personally, I vote for someone apping the Sarlaac.

I should not be allowed to encourage the creation of a troll-for-hire thread, forum, or comm on this or any other site solely for the purpose of creating cyberenvironmental chaos and watching what other people do about it.

I should not be allowed to try to get more people to join my cult, which worships the "..."

I should not be allowed to name my electronics in ways that refrence bad porn when I talk about them plugging in or hooking up to one another.

I should not be allowed to mock furries with the clever use of Guns n' Roses.

I should not booby-trap things completely at random just because someday, someone will poke it and the lulz will ensue.



...I shouldn't do these things, but most of the time, I do anyway. The last one in particular.

Someday, homehow, someone will be in that closet, and they will happen to look up into the tiny nook just beyond the doorframe, and they will see a bottle suspended upside-down from the ceiling with Magic Putty, and they WILL untwist that cap. Because they are good little monkeys. And it will be epic.

I should probably not be allowed to make a Supernatural vid to Billy Idol's cover of "Plastic Jesus." Nor should I be allowed to stage "Once More With Feeling" at my college with my advisor playing Giles.

This made me giggle uncontrollably all day yesterday, but it's only funny if you a) pay attention to mixed_muses and b) have read the Hannibal Lecter series. Otherwise it's just . . . bizarre.

The ten inch stack of two-year-old invoices sitting on my desk at work makes me giggle uncontrollably too, but there's a little more hysteria in that one. >.>

The thing I miss about college is that that kind of thing was totally fine there--if it amused us, we did it. Now, I live by myself and am still pretty easily amused, so if I never did anything that made me giggle I'd... never do anything at all.

The idea of Jim Henson's Rome Babies still cracks me up, though, same with threat of god/robot smut or the idea of Tesla at a Wii party, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. As far as actual results to show for the giggle-inducing ideas, I've got this and that's about it. I am a slacker.
