Also I'm Canadian and US politics gets even less attention from me than my own country's does. I only know the contenders' names because they get press attention on the Yahoo Canada home page [Obama (seems to be) is Mr Change; Clinton is Mrs Bitch, and McCain is a brand of frozen foods up here].
