Oklahoma is a Republican state. Most Democrats don't even waste money with it. But if it matters Oklahoma picked Sen. Clinton in the primaries. All local elected officials are Democrats but on a national level they vote Republican.

Not in any of mine [except maybe tarot-verse, but I have no idea what year it is there], that I'm aware of.

For the most part, it's not 2008 for any of them, either because of where their canon left off, or because of my own personal choices regarding canon.

Also I'm Canadian and US politics gets even less attention from me than my own country's does. I only know the contenders' names because they get press attention on the Yahoo Canada home page [Obama (seems to be) is Mr Change; Clinton is Mrs Bitch, and McCain is a brand of frozen foods up here].

By the time American presidential elections roll around, I'm generally completely oversaturated and would like nothing better than to set off an EMP that killed every television and radio for miles around, just to get some freedom from the damn campaign ads and promises. Colbert is canonically running for President in the Marvelverse, Condy Rice and Bush have shown up, and I believe Obama has made an appearance. I'm sure we'll hear more from him in the next few months.
