Yes, except for that it is my desk and my chair.

Also I have knee issues anyway, so it compounds.

I have a laptop tray under my desk. I've lost count how many times a day I hit my knees on it.

Then why does the laptop tray stay there? Is it one of those crazy ones that is attached to the desk itself?

(I ask in that way where no matter how many times I figure out what I hit under my desk, I never end up moving it.)

I have a diagonal cross bar thingy under my desk. uuuuuuuugh. my knees hate me anyway and don't like to support me, but here they get battered and bruised, as well.

All I've ever known is office jobs, and they suit me. Any injuries I sustain tend to be from paper cuts.

I keep a sledgehammer, one of those really huge orange MAC ones, leaning against my PC stack under my desk. At least once a day, I accidentally get my feet tangled into it and either:

1. Fall over.
2. Have it fall over onto me and bash hell out of my left knee.
3. Have someone else walk into my workspace, see it, and immediately pick it up to examine and either drop it on their own feet or pretend swing it around and hit a wall.

But I'm not giving it up. Because 1) the zombiepocalypse is nigh and I'm certified as my building's floor monitor in case of zombie invasion and 2) we've had strangers walk into the building and steal stuff, so if anyone comes around that corner that I don't know, they're getting a face full of sledgehammer.

Er...I have some instrumental theme songs from TV shows. I'll send them along!

I'm redoing my resume and will be writing two cover letters to get myself a desk job hopefully. I'm kind of worried, too hot and sleepy all at once though my laptop is on a wooden tv tray so my knees are fine. Its just if I'm here to long sometimes my back doesn't like it.

3) It is BEAUTIFUL outside
4) I have real clothes stashed under the desk so I can change at five and run away to dinner and maybe the comic book store and the panda movie

Today is a good day.

I will send you theme songs! I am sure I have some. And I will actually get a thread reading or two done for MPR this time, because I will have no overdue work hanging over my head to distract me. :DDDD!
