So, I have a bit of plot question. I've been tossing this idea about my head for a while now, and I thought I would just spring it on everyone at the same time to create discussion.

...how do we feel about doing Milliways: The Musical?

I mean, we can make it like Haiku night was a while back. You just have to speak in lyrics or such. It really won't be that hard. It would just take group planning in advance so particular plots could be chosen (if we make a true musical storyline) or so you can run away for the night to escape the insanity.

Really, though, it's not that hard if you have a worry about that! As a child of the theatre, I live in a musical every day. It's just a matter of bigger, flashier, and your words are more flowy.

Thoughts?

Further, we have a new bartender. *huggles Muffin like mad* We need to welcome him into his new position. I've decided. It can be a wonderful way to help get characters out of their mourning. Thoughts on that?

A question, however... what would be the restrictions on lyrics? Would it be that any lyric is game for any character? Because if we have to stick to lyrics that characters would know according to their time period or world, it could get really dicey.

Well...I was hoping we would write out our own lyrics. Nothing big or anything. Maybe using your main entrance post as your song break and everything after are dialog. Really, nothing big. Now arias or small great works. Just two or three stanzas. Does that sound workable? I know I can do that but I'm trained for it.

Suuuuure! Plan it out with them. I'm just proposing the idea, really. If people want me to be the mad conductor of this crazy thing, I'll do it, but I just wanted to throw the idea out. I mean, I'm thinking just making in a night of everyone under a musical spell or something and everyone can do their own thing. We just plan the night out in advance so everyone can be in. I was thinking it was more a random spell that happened, not an actual musicial we put on. 'Cause it would just not be in character for some of the bar members to sing about and dance willingly. Tim could be all dancey and throwing magic around? I don't know, whatever you think would be in character.
