Well... my problem, I think? I didn't really think the whole "Oooh! I'll be Death!" thing through. I mean, how do you characterize someone that's pretty much the beginning and end of everything? She doesn't get involved in this kinda crap. She looks after her family when she has to, but otherwise, she's a working girl.

...and, plus, yanno. Timid. *grin*

Well, take a look at Death in The Sandman. That girl's got a sense of humor on her, and a sense of fun.

Or, you could always cancel on being Death and find someone a bit easier for you to RP.

You have to remember that people don't necessarily know the fandom you're working with, so there's an amount of leeway for you to take the character and make her your own.

I'm also bloody shy in RL. I never approach people on chat programs unless I already know them, I rarely friend people in case they don't want me to, I have *huge* inferiority complexes... see, that's the beauty of RP. It ain't *me*.
