Summary from Thursday night to present time. Cut for length because oh it's a doozy.

Thursday:: After seventeen years away, Yrael, newly freed, returns to Milliways. He is greeted by his sister, Kibeth, who is really glad to see him. She talks him into taking human shape, as there is "different kinds of fun" to be had in human shape. Kibeth teases Yrael about having only been gone a week bar time, while seventeen years passed for him. They agree that this calls for drinks. Kibeth jumps onto the bar to yell that all drinks are on her, sparking conversations in which Ares gets confused and Indiana Jones gets flirted with, among other things. Yrael and Kibeth discuss the meanings behind what drinks they choose, and whether or not the Dog can get drunker than a dog. Yrael decides that the phrase "drunker than a dog" will soon not be used any more, as it will be unattainable. Kibeth states that she will always be the drunkest, sparking boasts and challenges from both sides.

The challenge is set, and possible choices of drinks are discussed. Quick, friendly sibling fighting happens. They decide the competition needs to be set for a later time, and they part ways.

Meanwhile, Yrael scares the lving dayLight out of Will Stanton for looking like a friend of his. Yrael proceeds to freak Will out with the drink he offers Will. They toast Time, then Peter stops by. At this point Yrael and his mun are about dead, so they say their goodnights and go to bed.

Friday:: Yrael enters the bar to get a saucer of milk and is greeted by a curious Todd. Todd comes across as irritatingly fake and quite patronizing, definitely not endearing himself to Yrael. Yrael tells Todd to go search out stories elsewhere, perhaps examining his own story. Todd says he was merely curious, but curiosity killed the cat. Yrael tells him that cats come in many forms, and tells Todd to go chase mice. As Todd leaves, Yrael and Angie begin a conversation. She is nervous about Yrael being free, remembering what happened last time, but Yrael tells her he came by his freedom honestly. Yrael buys them some well-named drinks. They speak of family, friends, home, and how to leave the past behind you. Yrael's advice doesn't go over well, and he leaves after buying her another drink as it seems she needs it.

He wanders over and meets Ares and Athena. Ares gets Yrael to try an Apple Martini. Athena freaks Yrael out by asking why he chose to stay so long as a cat and if the cat were his sigil. She makes up for it, though, by seeing what the Seven failed to see. Yrael later heads to his box for sleep.

Saturday:: Yrael's night of trying to remember people:: Yrael and Tom meet and talk a bit. Yrael tells of the new kinds of drinks he's been experimenting with, and Tom chooses a Nuclear Iced Tea. Yrael chooses to drink a Rattlesnake, which Tom thinks he might have liked better than Nuclear Iced Tea. Yrael asks for recommendations of what to drink when trying to drink someone else under a specific table. Tom offers a whiskey on the rocks and says to see him if Yrael needs a hangover potion. Yrael thanks him and wanders off.

Yrael and Millie meet once again, and Yrael is pounced upon and licked. He reintroduces himself to Snow, and then meets Bigby. Yrael tells Bigby of Millie's prowess in battle. Yrael tells Bigby there's some cat that Millie's been fighting with. Bigby says that he'll be taking over Millie's training in how to fight, so the cat won't be needed to teach her any more. Yrael lets Bigby know that if Millie wishes to fight, the cat will still be willing. Yrael wishes Bigby good night, and leaves, making no secret that he is the cat with whom Millie's been fighting.

Yrael and Tonks chat a little while, with remember who is whom on both sides going on. Tonks asks what's been going on with Yrael and he tells her, and that he's been trying to find all his friends from before. Tonks tells him about Kassandra and Sirius leaving. He doesn't want to believe it, Tonks tells him it's true. *the not!cat breaks* Yrael leaves to do his own grieving. In the waters of death beneath the stars, he grieves.

And that's it for summary until something plotty happens to Yrael. Probably when he and Kibeth get around to that drinking competition.

I have just finished reading Sabriel, and have decided that I am far too fond of Mogget/Yrael. I quite literally cheered when he made his first appearance in the book. I consider this entirely your fault, and thought you ought to know.
